QUOTE(michael9413 @ May 14 2014, 09:43 PM) Same as iPhone previously lo... and also a lot of them using this tactic now... the recent one is HuaWei Honor 3C, a really copycat of XiaoMi tactic in their China, Taiwan, HK and SG sales.... Honor 3c when launch in china has hell lot more units available for 1st batch, just that mostly are assigned to those pre order customers. If not mistake 1st batch easily 20k - 30k stocks. So is normal... Bad thing I dislike bout smaller manufacturer is their stock availability, which usually dont have alot units ready when launched. Take bigger manufacturer like lenovo and zte, their 1st batch of golden warrior and grand s2 each has around 50k to 60k stocks ready, where follow up batches usually at least has 10k to 20k range stock available. But also thanks to xiaomi hunger strategy which cant fulfill market need where others see the opportunity to fill in with similar products at similar range, and can provide us consumers with more options. |

What I see now in SG site, Mi3 stock is OK... but only RedMi n Powerbank only 5000 unit available on sale on a certain time... so it means if here not enough Mi3 stock they can pull over some from SG lo...
So far still Powerbank n RedMi is not enough stock worldwide I think... maybe Mi3 already cool off already, cos a lot of ppl buying RedMi cos of the pricing, below 500 man where to find... Lets keep our finger crossed... This post has been edited by michael9413: May 14 2014, 10:00 PM |

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ May 14 2014, 05:48 PM) LTE... is gold first time i hear LTE uses less battery compared to 3G donno where i read, it use less energy to watch the same youtube video compare to 3G ur page pop up faster, especially u r browsing heavy image site... aka facebook/flicker/etc yeah my area hv 4G... and if u r given option to use 4G why opt for 3G? ok mi-3 still kick ass. peace QUOTE(figure8 @ May 14 2014, 07:30 PM) bro, cannot compare phone camera with digi cam la.... QUOTE(michael9413 @ May 14 2014, 07:54 PM) OK... attached is some photo I took a moment ago... with low lights at my dining area... is the photo acceptable? QUOTE(siowgirl @ May 14 2014, 10:05 PM) first time i hear LTE uses less battery compared to 3G Yup all of them... it just depends how u control... do not let the BOTs take over u... remember u r the one who control them... bro, cannot compare phone camera with digi cam la.... those are taken with your sony? the last one at the night market is most similar to the problem i am having. using auto mode, most of my pictures turn out bluish like that. doesn't matter if low light or just normal lighting unless if it's bright day light. even in the office, the picture turns out blue. i can change the WB to fluorescent and it helps (a bit). annoying the crap out of me. ok, before some mod says i am derailing this thread, most of the sample mi3 pictures so far are a-ok. not superb but boleh tahan la BTW if not mistaken Sony camera color is on cold side, not warm... if u want more yellowish means warm, blueish means cold... My previous Lenovo P780 also same... In actual DSLR also same, Canon more warmer color while Sony a lil in the middle but Nikon color is colder... so Canon a lotnof photog use to capture events, y? Cos ppl man, if cold color, ppl looks like pale lo... Nikon more towards outside landscape, cos colder means u can get nice green n blue color... QUOTE(kennethkee93 @ May 14 2014, 10:06 PM) Yeah, now MI3 lost it's frenzy in SG, some of them are mad at Xiaomi for lowering the price right after the Xiaomi anniversary event. Well yes and no... they angry but just a few tenths of Dollars is nothing for them... it will go away... mainly I think is the Mi3s, most of them waiting for the better ones... for them is just cheap, cos my sis told me b4 she never buy phone above 400 dollars... y cos u tie it with contract top range phone is around there only haha... For them 3k per month, Mi3 only less than 15% of their salary... Here is like 4k per month but Mi3 already over 20% of our salary... This post has been edited by michael9413: May 14 2014, 10:18 PM |
