What I refer to as mobile broadband is data only plan, which is without voice, where usually meant for laptop that sticks with a usb modem, which you can also slot into your phone if you had a dual sim phone la. Usually it also has a higher quota limit as compare to phone data plan, and cheaper per gb charges.
*
Only a bit higher quota for an extra rm10 monthly for celcom. I.e 1gb @rm38 mobile data vs 1.5gb @rm48 mobile broadband, 3gb @rm58 vs 4gb @rm68 and so on.

Not sure about other telcos though. But the quota almost more or less the same for the same charges for all telcos. So if fully utilize LTE, data will surely drain due to more browsing, more video streaming, let alone heavy downloads such as torrent. One HDrip file already 2GB.

4,000 units. No 64gb. No announcement on Mi3s.

So whats the cost if buy from China, again? How much is the difference?
*
Amost the same already..no point to buy the same product that is available in malaysia market.

Unless you are gunning for mi3s before they launch it here.

lets say...
3G need to buffer 5mins for 1 youtube video compare to 1mins for LTE
in this case even thou LTE consume more power, it actually able to save power by finishing the job fast

imagine u r browsing all those image intensified webpage facebook/flicker...
all those microsecond addin to the power saving  wub.gif

ahhhh true but that applies only if you are a hard core mobile user.

I not too sure with celcom quota amount as not using their services but usually the broadband plan will provide more quota over mobile data plan.

As for celcom 4g coverage, I think its lower when compare to maxis, as a friend of mine which uses celcom also cant get 4g in my area which is bangsar. Reason for aiming lte is meant more for enhanced surfing experience with sites that loaded with loads of photos, which I dont use mobile data for streaming most of time, streaming and downloading will be my fiber job. And given similar pricing, definitely I choose something with 4g ready over 3g only

I think for average user got 3G internet speed (LTE coverage not so good yet), can take photos and online more than enough.

Personally I love the huge battery size biggrin.gif

Just hope it won't drain so fast because it is non removable battery sweat.gif
