thanks mate. i'l prolly get a midrange one instead. r9 280x 3gb of ram is about 1100 ringgit thereabout which offers about 70% better performance than the current card. use the rest of the cash to prolly get another 1 more ssd and raid 0 it
*
Or you could also consider Nvidia's GTX 770 which offers an almost similar performance with R9 280X.

Alternatively, top up to RM1399 for Gigabyte R9 290 OC from feiton (Garage Sales). It offers on par performance with GTX 780. smile.gif

Tight fit to accommodate for SSD, OS and monitor under RM3k. tongue.gif

I must warn you that the monitor quoted below is glossy surface though. C-Zone seems to have a limited choice of IPS based 23" monitors at the RM600 range.

Intel Core i5 4460 - RM579
Asus H97M-E - RM349
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1600MHz - RM259
Leadtek GTX 750 Ti – RM559
FSP Hexa 500W PSU - RM149
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD - RM179
Intel 530 Series 120GB SSD - RM289
Cooler Master K380 Casing - RM149
Dell S2340L 23" IPS LED - RM569
Lite-On 24x DVDRW – RM55
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM - RM319

Total - RM3455 (prices are from C-Zone)

I think Windows 8/7 keys are cheap. RM 50+- , chunyip91 all you need to have is a 4GB Pendrive and the Windows OS .iso file. You can search youtube for further details.

I just wonder, are these legit keys? Or technically legit, but obtained in a questionable way? hmm.gif Because RM50 for a "legit" key is really indeed very very cheap. biggrin.gif

How big is the ISO file that you need to download? I wonder would it work if we already have the original DVD installer.

can't remember but mine was win 8 pro...it was downloaded using different win 8 pro key..you can just simply change the key during activation..i believe as long as the new key is for the version of windows installed, no need to reformat...not sure how if you already have win 8 let say consumer version and u want to install win 8 pro key though...

This. wink.gif

Try to ask C-Zone if they have the 2GB version of the GTX 760, which should cost cheaper. The 4GB one quoted below is ridiculous, there aren't many other GTX 760 choices in C-Zone's pricelist. tongue.gif

Intel Core i5 4460 - RM579
Asus H97M-E - RM349
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1600MHz - RM259
Leadtek GTX 760 4GB OC – RM999
Silverstone Strider Essential 500W PSU - RM179
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD - RM179
Intel 530 Series 120GB SSD - RM289
Cooler Master K380 Casing - RM149
Lite-On 24x DVDRW – RM55

Total - RM3037 (prices are from C-Zone)

Is the PC able to be booted up by just using the onboard graphics (if any)? Also, what is the PSU?
