so you mean the annual fees will be waived upon after 12 swipes, ie AF credited back to the credit card account?

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jan 2 2015, 03:54 PM)
assuming no sudden changes by the Customs and BNM, the current service tax would be abolished.

however, the annual fee is taxable under 2015's GST rate of 6%. This card's AF is RM388, which has RM23.28 GST. Total nett AF is RM388 + RM23.28 = RM411.28.

most of us dont now yet how it affects CCs. To be safe, getting AF-free cards now is not a bad idea  laugh.gif

within coming months, all consumers would get notifications from services & goods providers on the GST inclusion into their pricing.

pbb revised some rules already:
1) minimum fd pledging is rm34k, no longer rm30k
2) credit limit is 90% of the fd amount, no longer 100%
3) stamp duty rm5 for every rm1k fd pledging amount, no longer rm10 stamp duty for the whole process

Got my CC application approved yesterday (FD pledging).

The credit limit given to me is 90% of the FD amount I pledged (in my case, is a gold card, not VS card).

PBB website/pdf brochure still stating 1:1 ratio on FD pledging which is very misleading information.

Yes, is more than 3K if you refer to credit limit.
I originally thought the amount pledged can get platinum (which I was told by the PBB CS that is possible), but anyway, at least got the card now. sweat.gif

if that's the case, means that "stamp duty rm5 for every rm1k fd pledging amount" is not applicable for gold. only on pbb vs.

yeah, hard to keep up to chase all this cards. Once work very hard until get a platinum, then suddenly signature come out, then platinum become middle income group. Now reach signature, but still feels like platinum status back than.
