You are always among the 1st to apply new card  thumbup.gif

So far, only know that the VIP points can be used to offset GST.

I am wondering why they want to have the account opening requirement. Quite a hassle.
*
bcs he is rich... simply take out any one of his cards also can swipe and fully paid for a volkswagen (if they accept cc for full payment). thumbup.gif

For me they are complementary for I would use Wise for mobile, petrol and deptstore, PBB VS for dining, groceries & online and MBB2Amex for weekend and Watami for every other things.
*
yeah, i agree with your planning with these 4 cards. they are the best package covering all the major categories with 10%, 6%, 5%+2%, and others at 3%. great!

QUOTE(Gen-X @ May 10 2014, 01:14 AM)
does this card earn Cash Back for other transactions besides dining, grocery and online transactions? If no, what is the point of minimum CL RM30K since the cash back is capped at RM60. CL RM2K is enough, hahaha.

Okay you do earn 1 VIP Point, but I bet the returns will be less than 0.5% for cash vouchers.  Therefore this is not competitive compared to say OCBC Titanium Mastercard which you give you1% CB.

And one only earns 1X Point for overseas transactions. This is really a joke for a so called Premier credit card.

I can tell you PBB will terminate or revise the 6% CB in less than 2 years just like what OCBC did for their Titanium MasterCard. This is because no one here in LYN CC Section is so stupid to go use the card for any other reason except to earn the RM60 monthly CB (max spending RM1K/month). Well, maybe those who want the free local airport lounge access can go use it at McD when overseas (and earn 6% CB too), hahaha
*
yeah, it's true about what you said.

lol, that's a good idea. but which overseas mcd accept cc payment? sorry, usually i use cash as i thought they were the same like malaysia (cash only). lol...

In fact all NETS merchant could accept it. The function is the same as NETS Cashcard.
*
yes, it's function is same like nets cashcard. only that autopass is for malaysian who drive into sg. but as mentioned, mcd accept nets flashpay, which is why i wonder whether autopass can be used in mcd too.

For example, I need to pay my premium for Great Eastern insurance...

I want to know too... paying GE premium RM600 per month with OCBC platinum now.. Only 1% CB  doh.gif
*
as i know, we can't pay insurance online (at least for ge at the moment). the most you can do is to auto-debit if you opt not to pay at the branch every month. but of course, if you use auto-debit feature, there is no 6% rebate for online payment.

hi all,

anyone can identify Tesco online store is under Groceries or Online Transaction? I'm planning to buy something with their online website. TQ.
*
if you are using pbb vs, why worry? since both grocery and online transaction are included for the 6% cash back.
