Compare this to HLB Wise:

PB Visa Signature

- 6% on dining, grocery, online transaction
- 1 VIP point per RM spent.
- RM 60 cap
- Free lounge access with minimum 5 overseas transaction
- Free travel insurance
- 12 swipes for annual fee waiver

HLB Wise
- min income 36k
- 10% on 2 cat + mobile, min RM 50 x 10 times to be eligible for cashback.
- no cashback or points for others.
- RM 100 cap
- No lounge access.
- No travel insurance.
- no fee waiver.

Go with this or HLB wise?

I wonder if it is possible to get another way round to get this card without 100k income or pledging 35k FD.

Such as proving that you have cash share trading account with 30k?

Anyone got any idea on how to pay online for Astro without using Astro portal? Payonline doesn't seem to have it.

Create an Astro online portal account... then use PBB VS to pay online to get 6% (I did that)

Thanks Ronnie, but the issue now is that the ownership of the Astro subscription is not me. cry.gif

Anyone here actually got this card through 30k FD pledge?

This will further strengthen my will to go and apply through pledging FD.
*
Go ahead and pledge. They will keep your fd and ask you to sign authority to charge letter. This will give then to take $ from your fd if you didn't pay up.

I've also receive a Feedback Form from Public Bank to comment on their PBB Card Services. Very interesting indeed. At least PBB willing to listen to their customers.... There's also a free gift after you have submitted via Snail Mail (prepaid envelope)

What free gift did you get? smile.gif

In Payonline, is Telekom the correct service provider for Unifi bill? I am also seeing TMnet in the list. I am new to payonline. Confused here.

Thanks.

Telekom is for Phone, Streamyx and Unifi. I have done transactions for each and it works tongue.gif

For public bank cards, will the system allow a purchase if the amount is higher than the credit limit? This is for online transaction.

The reason, I am making a purchase for an amount in Yen but at the OTP page, the amount somehow changed to USD. For example, Yen 1000 but it is shown as USD 1000. So If my credit limit is only RM2000 (very much lesser than USD 1000 after conversion), will Public Bank allow the transaction to go through even thought it exceeds the credit limit?
*
No. That's the use of credit limit. Unless you request for temporary limit increase. smile.gif
