I am not sure with the time frame. Previously I made online transaction at local time 10am and it went to previous day (I guess it follow merchant time) then I missed the bonanza.

After that I try to swipe on Monday after 4pm to be safe. No problem there-after.

I experienced that during trip to Vietnam, from HSBC card, charged for 150,000 Vietnam Dong but shows as USD 150,000, shocked me and did a roaming call to HSBC, CS says its SMS system error and indeed it's 150k dong only.

Thanks for sharing. For PBB, the OTP sms did not state the amount and currency, only the digit codes. Even I called CS, they said unable to check. Anyway, i decided to use amex for this purchase as my RM60 cashback already used up.

Pbb system is very lousy as usual. Have not received my activation bonus until now. Called on the first month and asked me to wait for second month. Called on second month and asked me to wait for 3rd month.
And of course, my online application bonus is missing.

Called a few times to check why I didnt get and none of them tell me why. Until yesterday the guy checked my transactions.

Otherwise I could have charged other spendings to the card.
