Well, if City wins it this season, I'd say that they deserved it.
Pure class football. And Yaya Toure, what a player he is.

We too have a Toure that score goals too , its OWN goal ~ that cost us points

it's almost over... it has been a great great season...
the only downside is that we have spent a lot of money to sign defenders.. but our defensive is still very awful.. hopefully there'll be a significant improvement next season.. add more qualities and keep our key players...

europe, here we come!!

Of course they will be back. With citeh-like money spending spree next season brows.gif
Manscum way is 'stability', at least before Moyes was sack  hmm.gif
*
They probably cannot commprehend the meaning of 'spending big' (like how mCity & Chelsea). They often denied it even though they were the ones who probably began the trend (shifting goalpost as usual, so to speak rolleyes.gif )

But still the match ended 3-2.

Mancity home form is pretty good and consistently throughout the season, the most WH can do is park the bus and hope Mancity misfiring and ended with 0-0.
The only loss for then entire season was against Chelsea.

They even can win with 10 men.
So they are the deserving champion.

Mathematically is still possible, but very very unlikely.

We wish, secretly we all do cling on that remote feeling.

Will will look forward for the future, quality reinforcements, not just hearsay we did quite well this season without better quality at the bench. The squad will be taxed with champions league games, lots more traveling, will definitely put a huge strain on the squad if we only just maintain and add feeble additions.

I'm looking forward if Rodgers has an eye more for reinforcement in the midfield (first), second defense. While I know the defense is leaky in goals. I think our midfield is more important in the aspect we play with such high intensity, our current midfield is then too meek facing an onslaught by the opposition, we can't just leave the defense to soldier the opponent attacks alone in the second half.

Overall we may feel gerrard has done ok in his department, but remaining of Lucas, Allen, Henderson & courtino is a little too lightweight given we now have to content with further midweek workloads.

Gerrard needs a understudy, we need one real bad. His service for us in the years is exceptional, but we cannot cling and hope for him to shoulder us (even in a walking stick!) He has shown his influence in many games for us this season. The freekicks, the penalties are as important to us as he is decisive in his actions. (I do miss jonjo shelvey, flawed in some ways of his game but wasn't gerrard too has his minor flaws)

Of the several, I'm look forward to adam lallana. He looks promisingly ok. Seems a hefty price tag attached.

I hope we can do business sanely this summer without Real Madrid distracting us with a Suarez bid. That the last thing I want. If I know Real Madrid, the won't take a simple no. The episode with pursuit of bale certainly wasn't conducted
In a simple manner. That I felt caused a disjointed effort by spurs this season simply because a large influx of players were included with lesser or no core within that team.

Some of the other names that I saw linked to us
Ogenyi Onazi, Antoine Griezmann, Roberto Firmino, Micah Richards, Marcos Rojo

Not sure if any of these will materialise, but I hope we land them (if they are Rodgers targets). 60mil isn't a lot if one compares to the potential of manU, mCity and Chelsea's bank account. Doesn't matter it take a little negotiation to land quality, proper quality players.

It's far far better than to have 'done our business's' early but with rather less impressive, slightly laughable quality. Coming of the bench that doesn't offer any improvement to the team but more anguish instead sad.gif

I also think Man City are deserving winners.

And for us to win it would be an insane miracle.

Just win the last home game, finish 2nd and end on a high and carry on next season.

From 7th to 2nd in a season is more than enough for a small squad like ours.

And I love all the phrases we conjured this season... especially 'We go again'.

I agree.

Over the 38 games, MancsC is the deserving winners.
We have simply let in too many goals compared.

Their squad quality shows through. When Aguero was injured and Negredo off form, they had another quality striker to come to the fore.
Come to the fore, he did, this Dzeko. Always rated him. I would welcome him anytime into our squad.
He is another striker who is in the right place and visibly an intelligient player.
Plus we do not have someone who is good with headers.

Plus of course, all over the park they had quality whereas we are still building for the future with our young uns.

Onward and WE GO AGAIN next year!

Of course people will say owh look City's squad is 100 million pounds/dollars more than us.

It's not their fault they have money.

Their squad's depth is just immense.

They are good going forwards and defending. We slipped too many time due to our poor defending.

But this is still a good season for us, no matter what people say.

Haters gonna hate.

Well, money talks.

50million for the owner is like RM5 for us.

But lets not take away the work put in by the players. Dzeko has been insanely on form as of late.

Yes

Unfortunately whichever way you skin it, money talks. I bet UEFA luvs listening to the sheik, especially the officials!

And we have to accept money buys quality Most times......Dzeko is an example of that. And many more in the team.

Its really down to the last game, not easy to win against WH.. if they think to play for a draw it will be dangerous. They still need a win and of coz we need to win ours too.
Slim chance but anyone could choke getting nervous for the last game when ure so close to win title.

Joe Hart flop!

close but not that close, we had destiny in our own hand but we sort of screw up.

correct me if i am wrong as i only watched the highlight - AV sort of parked the bus and i can see players behind the ball yet MC attack like a boss. I am not tactic freaks who go analyze the whole formation and etc but at the end of the day whichever team that has most points is the deserving champion.

Fined 50 million and can get trophy and become title contender every year, I think many club also want it.

Frankly speaking, my view, the FFP is like toothless tiger.

No money, no talk in modern football.
Players won't stay with low wages, even you are title contender
Good players won't come, even you are title contender.

Arsenal is a good example, despite with good coach and beauty in football, without spending big to bring star player, there is limit how far the team can go.
