My view,
Lucas is quite poor since after return from injury. Even not deserving in Liv starting XI.

Coutinho not consistent enough.
Some matches, look like a good playmaker.
Sometimes, seems like disappear from the match.

Blow hot and cold.
At time, guilty of giving ball away easily.

I understand that and I do agree.

But world cup isnt so much about consistency as it is about big-game impact.

And couts have that effect.

So we are going to win against Newcastle, and West Ham score a late winner? As in karma for MCity for taking MU title 2 seasons back? laugh.gif

We already had one Istanbul this season...Crystanbul against us sad.gif. I'm hoping against hope West Ham will do us a favour...but we need to get the job done against Newcastle first. I'm really nervous about that one...

The best WH can do bus parking with 0-0, and a draw which is enough for Mancity already as well.

Mancity most of the time, blowed team away in their home match, and only lose once to Chelsea 1-0 for the entire season.
Expect WH win? If WH win, the westanbul is 10x bigger than istanbul, you need more than miracle for it to happen. biggrin.gif

Nervous?
Almost every match lately, also nervous and nail biting one. Ain't you see Liv fans mostly with clean nail nowadays? laugh.gif

Cardiff, need to sweat, before win 6-3
Norwich, 3-2, nail biting at later stage of the match.
Mancity, leading 2-0, and 2-2, before Kompany mis-kick lead to Coutinho's goal
Crystal Palace, leading 3-0, 10 mins conceded 3 times.

Worst case scenario, we lose and Chelsea wins, we go 3rd. It's not the end until the end, but the table could very well turn against us.

Nonetheless, we still achieve our objective of top 4. smile.gif It's been an awesome season to be honest.

1. Watching us play fluid football (improvement needed in defense of course).
2. Challenging for title.
3. Dismantling Spurs, Arsenal, Man Utd and Everton. Taking on Man City and Chelsea head on and giving them a run for their money.
4. Rise of Flanagan, Henderson, and Sterling.

So many other things to sum up this season for our team. We really need to strengthen next year as it is clearly proven that we need some quality replacements for injuries especially Henderson.

PS: And of course, the fall of reigning champions. I'm not celebrating this, but some people really need to learn some humility.

i believe that some people still haven't learn it properly. still yapping away at our slip at the top laugh.gif

but i do agree with you. this season brought in so much achievement to the club. that being said, it's still too bad that we might not have anything to show for it sad.gif

here's to the coming season, may the team face the new challenge with heads up high flex.gif

Really hope so. rclxms.gif

But yeah, seeing as it's against West Ham in Etihad, I can't really see that happening. I'm more nervous against Newcastle. I hope the lads can bounce back from their poor defense display last time and close the league with a win. nod.gif

Well I guess every Liverpool fans in the world is hoping the same thing.

But TBH, West Ham literally have like 0.1% to win against MCity at Etihad. But still, second or third placing is good enough for me, but title would be a huge huge bonus.

If its any consolation to those Gerrard's fans,
My opinion of his slip is due to the 'suicide pass' by Sakho.

A teammate that initiates the pass dictates the rhythm, pace & direction of the ball and should be fully cognizant of nearby opponent/s that can pounced on the ball if given the opportunity.

Did Sakho telegraphed to the whole world including Ba that he was going to pass to Gerrard? Gerrard in most likelihood because of his 'age' hurried , slipped to get to the ball ahead of an advancing & younger opponent.

Especially when everyone expects Gerrard to receive a pass.

So that's why I termed it as a suicide pass.

Remember the Wembley FA Cup S-F; Carrick passed to Scholes that was picked by Yaya to score. The rest is history. wink.gif

The thing is we've already achieved our goal for the season. So I'm satisfied already. nod.gif
