yes. another thing i want the note for hendo this season is that he brings more competitiveness in the squad. as in he keeps the other players on their toes, i have seen him shouting at lucas, skrtel and flanno in several matches this season, telling them what to do, calming players down etc. in other words, some leadership that is very lacking in this team. mentally hes a strong lad. we missed him badly. lucas hasnt been the same ever since he got injured. he seemed to lost some intensity that he had from the last 2 seasons. im not sure why and wonder is it because he lost his place in the starting 11.

we should never point at players and blame them. everyone makes poor decisions and mistakes. we can say gerrard lost it against chelsea. but what about the 2 points lost to westbrom because of kolo's mistake ? we have to give credit to palace though. a team who is doing so very well under pulis. they are already safe from relegation, nothing to play for really. but in their last home game, 3-0 down, they still kept going, fans giving them spirit and intensity.

And I suppose you're gonna say that we can still win it right? Villa and West Ham are gonna do us a favour and do what virtually nobody has done at the Etihad? Or we're gonna score 15 past Newcastle? Get real man. It was ours to win and we slipped up. We couldn't deal with the pressure. Add to that the uncertainty of next year and what happens next?

It's a joke. Not a sarcastic post by some rival fan. Read into it what you will.

did you not question the resolve of the team? joking or not, did they hear what Gerrard said? Against Chelsea there might have been extenuating circumstances. But to throw away a 3-goal lead? Did they hear what he said?? That's what I'm saying. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way but I think as a 'fan' or a FAN we all have reason to question a performance like this.

The notion that the team other than Suarez wasn't good enough is rubbish. We're still first and we qualified for the a Champions League. On that score, Chelsea and Arsenal must have rubbish squads. RVP was banging in the goals for Arsenal but they won jack so the rest of their squad was rubbish?

I can think of several players who have had standout season. Gerrard and Sturridge made the PFA Team of the Year. Henderson, Sterling and Coutinho enjoyed their best season in a red shirt. Sterling wasn't even a regular in the first team nor was he anywhere near the England national team. Now he's a favourite to start in Brazil. Both Henderson and Coutinho have 7 assists so far as does Sturridge. Is it purely down to coincidence that our winning streak ended after Henderson got suspended? Between the 3 I've just mentioned and Gerrard and Suarez, the group of them have accumulated a staggering 45 assists. It shows the team is playing better as a unit and not relying purely on individual brilliance to score goals.

So yes I do think some of the lads deserve a pat on the back especially those that fought back after being dropped or heavily criticised for poor form the season before. I think this is a knee jerk reaction to conceding 3 against Palace because heck, we're still top but yet we aren't good enough. What does that say of the teams below us?

United will be back next season.

I would be extremely delighted if we get both but to be fair, Griezmann is so effing good since I started watching him playing last season. This season he is even better. If we can snap them both, it could be the thing we need to improve our squad.  The flair offered by Griezmann is definitely better than Moses.
