QUOTE(Sham903n @ May 19 2006, 06:50 PM) Man... for a fan site... this place got alot of NON fans... over and out! Hey, many of us are TRUE already PROVEN fans -- fell for the advertising hype, laid out CASH to buy services which turned out to be unsatisfactory. As a paid-up still paying fan, I'm waiting waiting waiting for reasons not to switch. 111

DiGi now offers unlimited Free calls, with a catch by Vijandren Ramadass Friday, 19 May 2006 11:17 AM Competition is always good among businesses, but when you're a service provider, the end-user always stands to benefit from stiff competition. The Malaysian mobile telecommunication industry is a very good example.
DiGi has usually been at the forefront of introducing radical rate plans as well as promotions to capture a bigger slice of the market pie. Their latest offering is targetted at postpaid users, offering them a first in Postpaid service - Free voice calls within their 016/014 network. There is always a catch however, in order to qualify for the free inter network calls, you need to first chalk up at least RM123 worth of calls for the month. This would definately be good news to heavy users who call within the network. SMS's fees within the network is also waived if you monthly usage exceeds RM123.
We'll just have to wait and see what the other players will do to counter this. Competition, always delighting the masses.
celcom ah celcom..what happen to u........seee..people offer so nice thing

http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/BT/Tuesday/Nation/BT56730 8.txt/Article/ Celcom also introduced new data mobile packages with 3rd Generation (3G) and General Packet Radio Services (GRPS) technology. You can now get unlimited usage of 3G and GPRS for RM99, with a discount of RM11 for Streamyx customers who show their bill.

i would say 3G can be a replacement for Streamyx somewhat. The good thing is... it's completely wireless.
however for those who have streamyx at home, might as well not get it. unless you are outside most of the time.
for those people who don't have streamyx (like those working professionals staying in areas w/o streamyx), 3G is the way to go.
Celcom's 3G is only RM99 per month. And their GPRS is RM99 too. Digi's GPRS is a whopping RM149 a month.

digi is RM99 per month , now with option to opt out voice package, that is to say you can soley get digi EDGE for 99 , without subsribing to their call packages.
Celcom is Rm99 ONLY IF you subscribe to their minutes/family/normal talk plan. if you choose for DATA only, you need to pay RM120.
Maxis 3G connect (data only) is also RM120.
