Just a question, does current data show that E6400 always show higher o/c compare to E6300? I saw some article keep on mentioning E6300 using stock heatsink can only reach 2500Mhz++ while E6400 can hit 2800Mhz++. Anyway, I'm going to use watercooling to squeeze the max out from the processor. Should I save RM 100++ to get E6300? Also, what budget RAM can do 800Mhz easily?

I'm sure you can pump more vcore and get it up. Even my E6600 on stock can touch your speeds already. QUOTE(gengstapo @ Aug 17 2006, 01:38 PM) ^hmmm.. look like my rank the lowest, anymore user wif cheapop "allendale" user here? kamon, post ur OC result here(hoping is there any lower than mine)

nope. E6600 needs lots of voltage, more than E6300 or E6400 do.. and i believe the prob is ur board.. send ur processor to any forumer here to test or go buy other board

It surely needs more power due to additional L2 cache. That's why it's very advantageous for those who can adjust Vcore.
For example, the X6800 couldn't boot at 1.35V if I OC to 3.5ghz. However, when I bumped up the Vcore to 1.5V, I could reach almost 3.9ghz!

Haiz, I'm stuck at 2.45ghz Dual Prime stable. RAM's holding it back. Even 10mhz extra to the FSB oso cannot. Y oh y doesn't Gaygabyte give us a RAM divider less than 1:1 I really dont understand. Hopefully they gif us a better divider in the next BIOS update.
