Just a question, does current data show that E6400 always show higher o/c compare to E6300? I saw some article keep on mentioning E6300 using stock heatsink can only reach 2500Mhz++ while E6400 can hit 2800Mhz++. Anyway, I'm going to use watercooling to squeeze the max out from the processor. Should I save RM 100++ to get E6300? Also, what budget RAM can do 800Mhz easily?

Want to ask, normally which temp reading you all trust? CoreTemp (which suppose to read onchip thermal) or report by EasyTune 5? Reason is both reading is quite far apart. CoreTemp give me around 53 degrees while EasyTune5 around 41 degrees.
E6400 with DS3 running at 400FSB. 3.2Ghz effective (haven't try faster. First boot already work at 3.2Ghz which is my target... cool!) at 1.4v Mushkin 2 x 2Gb RAM (value version) at 5-5-5-12 at 2.1v. Prime stable for 1 hour.
I'm using AlphaCool watercooling and waiting for my MCW60 VGA water block and Northbridge HS-05 heatsink for next round of overclocking. Next target at 3.5 Ghz. I don't think my 7900GT can keep up with the CPU so this speed is good enough.

Thanks for the info. Core2Duo is just great for o/c (50%). Previously use A64 Venice Core (only around 25% o/c).
