How much is your critical chance? Why I see every hit is critical hit...

WotHF has insane proc to crit. mine only 40% and i crit a ton too because of the number of hits.

Dear Lightning monk..

what is the best combo for lightning monk in respect of weapon:

1. TF + OS?

2. TF + SoH?

3. OS + WKL?

4. WKL + Fulminator?

5. Fulminator + OS?

So pening see so many lightning weapons to chose from? TF seems the best due the lightning procs..but those procs are not boosted by % lightning damage, where as OS and Fulminator gets the boosted % Lightning damage. Don't know on SoH as I tarak loot yet.

Perhaps Blizz ill be kind enough to let me loot so I can test it out?

so far i'm using WKL & OS, the result is awesome.... too bad i don't TF & SOH yet.

Is IAS% stat a good thing to have alot? As I use LTK so of course more IAS% meants can spam more LTK and generally beatdown faster; however that would also mean burnout my spirit pool (and generate faster). Or attack slower abit to have spirit regen to get a constant stream of attack?

It depends on your build. What LTK element do you use?

As you said.. more ias = more spirit generator hit = more spirit.

I think a LTK is more suitable to be a speed build. Try Epiphany with Desert Shroud. It boosts spirit regen and reduced damage taken, suitable for LTK build

i find out one things.example: if whole gear stick to one element skill lightning%dmg combo with the skills , yes deal dmg of element lightning ofcos higher ,but i dont think so will keep the element n skills belong .

like mine all gear cant stick to one of element% skill dmg n weapon too ,the best way i hav a best choice go for physical skill deal% dmg, so i can use any skills deal high dmg too ,example ,any primary skills,any focus skills or technique skills also count by physical skills% deal dmg...so i can use different skills for everyday bring up monk more fun .....

Eeerrrr..bro I think we not in same page.

the + element skillz will not boost the + 1000 - 1400 element damage of the weapon. For example..say a WKL..

A WKL will roll + 1.2k - 1.4k lightning damage and also roll +15%-25% Lightning Skillz. Say you hit jackpot..get 25%, the 25% will NOT go to the + 1.2k - 1.4k lightning damage at all.

the 25% will go towards the lightning skills that you use. Say we use SW-Cyclone which is a lightning skill. Each cyclone deals 23% weapon damage. What the WKL will add is 25% to that, i.e 1.25 x 23% =28.75% liao lo.

Same goes with all lighning skillz, like FoT, Lashing Tail Kick - Scorpion Sting. The staking of this elemental damage is powerful because its multiplicative effect.

Hence if you have like 100% Ligtning skillz, using the example above, your SW-cyclone will deal 46% damage, which is mehhhh..but for LTK-SS, its a huge buff from 643% ---> 1,286%...hence massive crits.

That is why fire monks can crit up to 40-50M using fire LTK because they can virtually stack the + fire skillz to 150 easily.

bcos y bro ..now is ply the win not pay the win ,not so much had perfect luck looted same element build decent bro ,yes element fire is the higher dmg ,i means i build my casual gear go for flexible skills ,if like ur monk build for lightning skill element for permanent ah? for me i sure vomit dy lol..

bro, i hv wkl, tf and fulminator.
base on my observation, fulminator is not as good as wkl & tf, because the lighting dmg seem only hitting the surrounding mobs, not the main target. it is still viable if fighting large group of mobs but in the situation like 1v1 boss, fulminator seem useless whereby tf can still proc the lighting chain.
i dont hv OS so i doesn't know how the lighting chain work. need monk's TS to comment on this.

OK correction, apparently Oydnn Son doesn't get the + lightning boost also..hmmm but I tried it (had I dropped but after trying brimmed chor cause didn't roll dex...came 20% lightning ooo was contemplating keeping it but last last FS!!)...the chain lighning procs hard wei.... can get Millions in crits but....the damn weapons is just slow..really slow

Oh well..we see la if Bliz kind enough gip me a SoH so I no need pening ..kekeke

I put all the 50 point to cc...now at 44% cc and it make my Monk kill faster...

mine 47.5 but still can see white damage... how come?

Oh... Because I disable showing white in option..
