Ya very frustrating when playing dota, luckily got SSD can boot fast and reconnect to the game.
Yesterday I DDU wiped the driver and installed 13.12 driver only, so far not yet black screen, hope no blackscreen zzzz
I also changed my previous HDMI -> DVI cable to DVI -> DVI cable now. I read that some user who use multimonitor had their HDMI connected monitor blackscreen while the DVI connected monitor still ok
EDIT: Baru post terus black screen dam frustrating aaaaahhh!!!

Seems urs is truely hardware issue, mine took almost a month from ling loong , my 270x cfx improve alot of performance on shadow of mordor alot of stuttering before, but sadly i cant use VSR

bro do you already try disable ccc at system startup? ccc sometimes got conflict with 3rd party oc software like afterburner and trixx..

I took out the koss automatic voltage regulator and so far no more black screen. I think this is the culprit now
So syok play 3 rounds of DOTA 2 no black screen, end up all 3 games win

have u purchase R9 270x ? hm i know u dun listen to me.. but better u go for R9 285 or R9 290 (get second hand if needed) with latest driver update AMD other product seem to be left out on the new tech...
all R9 will benefit from the new omega driver. about VSR, AMD should support other cards in the next Catalyst Driver update
Tested Omega driver in a few games, slight improvement in overall fps and some open world game "feel" much smoother, might be placebo but i know what i see and feel. Gonna try to reinstall GTA:ELC and see if it playable now with my quaddie.
The biggest improvement with this driver is on Assassin Creed: Unity, what used to run sub 30fps average for me now runs around 40-50 and sometime 60 with Ultra High Texture and Enviroment Quality + SSAO + High Shadow + FXAA. Previously overclocking in ACU only give 1 or 2 fps but now it scaled accordingly. I'm gonna try Arma 3 tomorrow and see if the GPU usage improved.

On previous beta driver this same spot only give me 33fps@1050mhz

my Diablo III become so sluggish with this driver. I also donno whether it's driver issue yet, have to roll back and see how.
AMDMy, give this man two 290x.

Hopefully they will fully support the older GCN1.0 card, i wish it's not a "hardware limitation" problem. From what i've read in some forum, only the R9-285(latest GCN) support 4K VSR, the 290s only support up to 1800p and the resolution selections is very little.

I'd rather get new card, even though the price for the cards like 280Xs are nice.. Unless i'm 18 n above.

I think AMD mentioned in one of the Omega Driver video that support for older card will come later. You can try look here.
