The GPU-Z in the screenshot is wrong by the way, it's actually running on 1100MHz/1300MHz.
The weirdest thing is that I've set the Afterburner run overclock settings when I startup but it end up start as stock.
So I have to manually apply the new profile to use the overclock settings hmm.gif

Well the reference only use a single 120 rads to cool down a dual GPU which may proved inefficient...I expect they make larger rads instead of air :/

Anyway, I myself too using 2500k, and tbh it'll wont bottleneck the 290...just overclock your card to 4.3GHz and you're good to go.

Happens on heavy load...but the sound ain't that obvious.

Well can't turn back now, choices have been made and gotta enjoy what I have now. Yeah, somehow price of GPU in Malaysia are not really affected by the oversea price hike from bitcoins, afaik GPU in Malaysia usually cost more compare to overseas.
