sorry bro consider you are out of luck already if you kena 3ROD. if yours is unmodded asian set then send it back to msoft singapore for warranty. but if yours is modded then your chance is very slim already.

you can try pm metalgrindsolid but according to him success rates is 50-50. he repaired few ok till now but another few cannot and kena again 3ROD.

hmmmm.....try the bernard shop then....heard he is experience in this case if your console is not an asian version...judge-the..go tidolah..stop spamming this forum...

Try to PM bro metalgrindsolid for help. If it is a GPU problem that causes the 3 ROD, then I'm afraid you're out of luck.

well sometimes the 3ROD can be cause by the power brick too~. so .. test a power brick before you opening (voiding) your microsoft warranty.

my xbox 360 dashboard sumtimes stuck or freeze especially when i wanna check the friendlist..so i have to turn off back when its stuck..is this the symptom of 3ROD?

Nah....it's just the 360 hanging because of slow connection to LIVE, trying to load your friend's gamerpics....

Happens to me all the time, sometimes after a few seconds it unhangs, sometimes it just continues to hang. Especially now with the Internet disruptions, it happens more often...

i hope not....coz i had that this past 2/3 days.......i think its because the connection not that stable...

Thinking to get Xbox360 tomolo, but i read some post from this thread, Unmod n mod also got this 3ROD problem.... so b4 i get it, how to avoid this problem... get what kind of version xbox360?

Get it from Gamers Hideout...1 year free of headache....anything happen...DJinn ill ship it to singapore...by the way..pls get unmodded 1....so have troublefree to play in lives..happy new year to u too...

what bro silencer said is true... please get unmodded 360 because you will never know when that 3ROD will strikes. if you want more kisah benar please pm bro metalgrindsolid... he received many modded 360 for repair due to the 3ROD... according to him... it's hardware failure... some lucky ones their 360 ok after he cleaned up the mess inside but some unlucky ones gone for good... totally gone!

so conclusion... only gets the asian version... unmodded asian version so that you are entitled for the 12 months warranty period.

I got ask alor star game shop, the shop owner tell me that 3ROD is bcoz of hacker hack ur system when u r using Pxrxx version to play game online........ it is true?

Well...from my experience....few of my frens encounter the 3ROD n there goes their console...some of them send bak HK or SG for warranty(till now not yet bak)...another fella straight buy a new unit.....tis happens on both Asia/Jap version... my jap console can b consider lucky coz im from the 1st batch...so far onli the power brick burn...tat cost me RM200 for a 2nd hand unit....sigh...

no such thing lah! 3ROD is hardware failure...
