Heheh.... Anyone keeps imbellis? Wild ones? I just caught two today while working... biggrin.gif

No idea how to keep them alive.... When trying to catch them, so darn hard... Swimming about like crazy only they all... But now that they are caught, adoi..... Fins clamped, colour dulled down so drastically, but still eat la the pellets i give... Now culturing some bbs to persuade them to eat more....

Oh ya, btw jit, HP's red line are mostly longtails la.... only 5-6 are HMPKs... and some more about 1/3 are cambodians, and a few more are butterfly... and of the reds, some are developing golden scales all over on the body.... HP's line, very interesting results man..... Only a few has his original full body red coloration.... blink.gif

wanna ask something - do bettas mix well with other fishes (non-betta) or things such as crayfish or crabs in the same aquarium?

I heard bettas can live with corydoras and plecos. In some shops I see them mixing female bettas with guppies and other tropical fish also, but not sure advisable or not. Crayfish better not, later your betta no more tail.

female bettas can mix with any normal community fish
male bettas, do not mix with fish that will nip their fins, or do not mix with other fishes with long/fancy fins (such as angel & guppies) or else the bettas will attack. apart from that, do not mix with fish that resembles bettas

all the fancy2 tail one are males (combtail, veiltailed, half moon etc). females have very simple tails and fins.
