yes, not much of them sell female. and mostly priced them higher than male too.

hmm..i duno issit true la..but last time when i was young,i play wif uncle betta we use to bring out betta to battle..so the uncle taught me to keep it in a dark area.. & buy those feeder fish for them to play wif..

my betta once jump out & i cant find it..& at in the end i found it..its already dried up & die

they can jump up if they see prey on the surface.

Haha, kept them for at least 3 months, none of them dropped out though. My fishes have a weird diet, I feed them baby guppys. =I just grab them from my fish pond and feed them once in 2 days, one fish around 7 guppys haha

i got 8 chocolate gouramis in me tank..i dont hve a cover..now left 5..3 mysteriously hilang.. after a few weeks.. i saw their body all dried up behind the tank!

bettas eating guppy fries? this is a first for me....btw IMO the container is a little to small for ur bettas...no space to move
i would recommend you those old horlicks bottles...most old timers (betta breeders) use them

Yes, they eats guppys (the black ones, not the ones with the colourful tails), I do it cos it's very convenient, just pick em up from my lil pond (I rare Kois and Talapias there). Too small ar? ok, will try getting bigger ones in the future. Didn't really know much about fighting fish before visiting this thread
