hmm..i duno issit true la..but last time when i was young,i play wif uncle betta we use to bring out betta to battle..so the uncle taught me to keep it in a dark area.. & buy those feeder fish for them to play wif..

my betta once jump out & i cant find it..& at in the end i found it..its already dried up & die

they can jump up if they see prey on the surface.

buy he is keeping normal lfs betta..not those halfmoon,double tail show type betta..so its very hardy..therefore doesnt need to do water change that frequent..but if u would like ur betta to be healthy then u can do so..

u can know when u see their tummy getting fat & full with eggs..u need to condition female & male before putting them together..gutload them 1st..then intro the female to the male 1~2days then check see the female tummy issit full with eggs..u must choose the write timing to release the female..cause if too late then the female will drop all her eggs then its a waste cause no sperm ma..

ok then after u feel its the time to release the female..then u need to monitor it..wait for hours see any mating happening..they will surely hit each other..sometimes female will hit the male badly too..my halfmoon become crowntail ledi last time .If nothing happen after 2~3hr together & the female keep run & hide from the male then u can remove the female & do back the same previous step..

u canot change water in 2weeks time till ur fries is stable..

u can only suck those shit out like ynneb25 said & add some water by suck them in slowly..not to create too much flow in the water so it slowly..

egg york can be good food for 1st few days but it will cloud your water very fast..best food will be daphnia & 1 more but forgotten already..i remember someone did bulk it here but its very long time ago maybe in V1 thread..bbs is your next choice..

vineger eels & microwowm(white color) like chicken floss tat tiny.. both of this not that good at early stage cause those worm will sink down..fries would not eat food which had already sink down..compare to daphnia & bbs both of them can swim so is better..last time ppl even went hunt those daphia themself at those green water..haha

hmm..i still got 2 bottle of bbs..i wonder how does the hatch rate now..i go try see..

VT-Ten: how much do u bought that turquoise of urs?from price & look we can agak agak la what type..

feed egg yolk canot la..it will cloud the water very fast & not enough uumph for ur fries..egg yolk can work for most 2~3days after their egg sac were gone.U need to get daphnia or bbs

but since urs are not those blink blink betta..so is up to u lo..it wont hurt much also..haha cause very cheap & easy to get.

last time i heard of few betta breeder also in PJ,david(subang jaya),Foo(PJ),then if not mistaken theres 1 red halfmoon breeder chua issit from melaka..he got a house turn to farm..then penang got another chua if not mistaken..johor i know 1 of them but forgotten call what name already..he give his betta for free to anyone who wanna breed them..

nop..i duno any breeder from klang..but last time they like to meet out at jinjang..normally i buy from aquabid..i duno got jalan eh got ppl can transport from thai to m'sia..aiyo..cos 25usd shipping from thai very exp..can get a decent HM ledi
