I was at COSE last month for service and did complain abt  slight drop in coolant level (hoping for radiator replacement). Instead they replaced the radiator cap rm 20+ or so, which I already did by myself for RM 15. So hopefully can last until next servie for the metal nipple replacement. Do they remove the top radiator cover for the job or just file down the current plastic tip and 'bolt on' the new nipple? looks like they replaced the hose too.
*
Hmm mine also kena charged rm23 for the radiator cap, they said the rubber already damaged. Maybe because overheated before as no engine oil left inside.

No change top radiator cover for sure, just add the new nipple. The hose im not sure, i have not pop the hood after the service yet

Seems like updating the ECU during my last service didn't fix the overcrank problem.

Just had another overcrank last night (rainy night) doh.gif

Try to asked them to log-in to "MRR" to get assistance & advise from their expert... Mine works well so far(touch wood) after the last service.

How long do you turn the key to start the engine?
I tend to release it before the engine runs. So, it's like 'twist, 2 crank, release the key, and engine runs'...

When I previously described my overcrank, it was because the engine won't start, due to insufficient fuel pressure or whatever reason. So, I'd say that my situation is different than yours.

Normally the engine takes 2-3 cranks to start up.

If overcrank, usually it'll take more than 7 cranks to start up, but the engine macam gonna die unless i give it some gas.

Yeah, that's the fuel pressure thing that I was suspecting.
Just stop cranking after the 3rd or 4th, no point. Turn it off and on again, it should start within 3 cranks.

Usually when it cranks more than 4 times, I just stop and wait for 10 secs before trying again nod.gif

hmm.gif Oh no when u all motioned over crank mean more than 3 times rclxub.gif
For my case is any morning start more than 2 crank then I will consider overcrank. To me even my old old Waja also need only 1 crank to start & I can't really tolerate with more than 1 for my 6 months old EB.

As for my case my SC at Gopeng(Ipoh) put up my complaint into their "MRR" reporting system, was told to clean up the carbon/contaminant at the engine or throttle compartment!! (can't recall cos this was not reflect in the service summary). Since then my EB can start with only 1 crank for the past 1 week++ ....

Hope no more overcrank rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif
