New Silver premium EB icon_rolleyes.gif reg 2 weeks back(early Jun'14), few days after I got my car my salesman call to informed that I entitle for 3 years free maintenance+service offer cos I reg in Jun'14 rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I drove my EB to Penang within the week I got my car, have a pleasant drive thru out the journey with my family(4 adult+2 teen+2 kids). Handling is great & the acceleration is reasonable too. Only felt a little slow to start move which below 2k Rpm but everything goes smooth when EB start to cruise. The cruise control is also COOL thumbup.gif enjoy & playing with it to add & reduce speed at highway.

Notice 1 new user highlite about the side mirror thingy, I do observe mine is also vibrating during the highway drive but town drive is ok.

Last but not least, I would like to THANK YOU notworthy.gif all lowyat EB user here that have been feeding in valuable input to have me make up my mind to own this EB instead of an use Estima. No regret !! Good buy(Value+3years free maintenance).... rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Just did my 1K service this noon & come to know that the 3 years free service mean total RM945 campaign voucher with stagger charges... RM95, RM95, RM95, RM165, RM165, RM165, RM165.

For my 1st service - oil filter+Engineer oil March 10W/30(4L)(~95) + labour(RM40) use 1 of my RM95 voucher & free labor for 1st 3 service... So myself Just sign & drove off without paying any $$.... rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

Observe serious Humming sound in the car when playing the ED's OHU DVD player that req the receiver volume to increase to about 20++. Very annoying when press the accelerator!! Anyone have the same issue??

Ontop of that during operating the DVD when I Tap the back cover of the OHU display there is a feed back at the receiver kind of funny, not sure is there any things to do with the electronic grounding...

The humming is from the surrounding of the inner car compartment when I cruising & press the gas paddle/accelerator to about 2Krpm++, kind of feel that the EB running out of power to accelerate with loud humming sound. This problems goes away when we play a better sound track DVD which the receiver volume set below 15.. Kind of funny.. flex.gif

Another thing I observe is when the gear level engaged at "N" my EB only can ramp up to 3k rpm max only no matter how hard I press the paddle, is that normal?? hmm.gif

Base on my observation, with normal drive occasionally 10 to 15min heavy traffic a day 1 bar of EB fuel meter can last about 60 to 70km. Therefore full tank of 7 bar can run up to 420 to 480km till the warning lights UP. Just my 2cents input..

Just to share smile.gif , we family of 6 drove up to Cameron yesterday & believe me the driving experience was so cool. rclxm9.gif Handling was good with a little under steer cos worry of messing with my kids movie time.
At beginning drove with 'D" & found slightly poor response cool2.gif with those up & down hill drive. Then tried to switch to 'L' and starts to feel the braking effect when go down hill & better torque/response rclxms.gif when goes up hill climbing. Easily over taking cars when up hill & the feel was superb as compare to my old civic & waja which is also 1.6L... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Oooh...

3 days back need to kick in about 3 times to get the car start in the morning.. rclxub.gif
Todays faced same problems & need few time to start my EB cry.gif not sure what happen..
Tested by switch Off after start & re-start seem ok with only 1 click to start... sweat.gif

Any1 got the same problems ??? icon_question.gif

Nope, park in side my car porch which is flat. No problems for the past 2 months only observe this couple days back & today... hmm.gif

I did ask my SC during 1st service in June'14 to check my EB's firmware & they claimed mine is the latest 1.. blink.gif

Personally don't like the feel of the "D" with SAT mode cos can feel dashboard vibration when start to move the can from stationery. wink.gif
But yet to try "L" with SAT, cos I like the feel of "L" for uphill & low speed(<100Km/hrs) driving... icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm with my EB for about 80day++, for the initial 4 to 5 full tank which hitting 12.3L/100KM then after my Penang, KL & Cameron trip now maintain at about 11.7L/100KM(city drive)... hmm.gif

hi Guys, any 2014 EB owner could help to check your passenger side suspension mount assy as per attached. I notice my with only 3 locking nut for left & 4 for right(driver side).... wonder this was the way or Proton miss out this.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

Guys, experience few times can't start/ignite in the morning right after my 6K service. Send back to SC this morning & the foremen claimed that this is cause by my "break safety lock" which wired to the ignition system... hmm.gif

Not sure any1 here have the same staff installed & experience the same problems like me?? notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
The foreman also claimed that sooner my EB will have break switch then follow with ABS light up problems... sound scary am thinking to disconnect the wire from this "break safety lock" if this is true. wink.gif

Or the engine just cant start at all?

For me I face the problem of overcrank occasionally, but I don't have any brake locks or fancy 3rd party security systems.
Some members said that updating the ECU version will fix it.

Yes, I mean over crank & my EB is able to start after few trial. This will only happen in the morning, the SC has confirmed my EB is with the latest version that's y he claimed my safety brake lock is the 1 causes this.
I know this is hard to fix problem cause this is an intermittent problem which come & go. The foreman start to raise he voice and walk a way left the customer rep to entertain me.... rclxub.gif At last the foreman ask the customer rep to issue "MRR" don't know what was that.. wink.gif

As for the "brake safety lock" I'm not so convince but will try to disconnected if the occurrence is freq.. Cos it always happen in the morning, am thinking something to do with the Engine ignition system instead of wiring.. wink.gif

Yes, feel like kind of the fuel can't feed to the engine compartment... What I also suspect is the petro station which I pump my petro, yet to confirmed cos I use Shell but I fill around few station near my area till last round right after I service my car(early Oct'14) I did a full tank fill at 1 of the station then few days in a row have the over crank issued. Then after this tank, it happen I fill at another station & till now not even 1 time of over crank.. rclxub.gif
