Hard to find because you (and a lot of people) are expecting too much of their machines/money nod.gif

You either choose a bulky/fat/heavy notebook with good performance (and relatively short battery life) and decent cooling at an affordable price

OR

Slim/sexy/light notebook with good performance (decent battery life) but very bad cooling at an affordable price

OR

Slim/sexy/light notebook with good performance (decent battery life) and decent cooling at an expensive price

laugh.gif

If you don't mind the flimsy built and weak WiFi range as well as weaker performance (compared to the Y410p),  you can consider the Vostro 5470 nod.gif
14"
Dell Vostro 5470, i7-4500U + Nvidia GT740M + 32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm) + (1366x768; Touch)@RM2499, 4GB, W8.1SL, 3-cell

*extend warranty to 3 years; upgrade RAM to at least 8GB

Ok, I lets just say if i increase it to RM4k. got hope or not sifu

You don't really need such a relatively high-end gaming machine if you are just doing normal office work. Recommended that one mainly because you mentioned you will play games on it laugh.gif
Yeah, the RE-13 is a good choice too if you don't mind the smaller size nod.gif
As you've said, it doesn't come with Windows, and only 1 year warranty... sad.gif

Its normal to not have a lot of reviews on Toshiba units laugh.gif

If you want good warranty support- Dell + 3 years on-site warranty@RM250

If you want the longest warranty support by default- Toshiba (3 years carry- in). This unit has weak WiFi range though

If you want good build, then the Z400T nod.gif

well, if your definition of light gaming is just those flash game titles, perhaps you can consider this :

Dell Inspiron 14 7000, i5-4200U + Intel HD4400 + (1366x768; touch)+ 32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM2999[1.99kg], 6GB(soldered), W8.1, backlit keyboard, 58Whr, No ODD

just i dont know which kind of game titles do you play.

my question is, do you play games? if you dont, then its not necessary. you will waste a whole lot of money for not benefiting the graphics card of the laptops you listed.

for work only, i'd suggest you to get this :

Dell Inspiron 14, i5-4200U + Nvidia GT720M@RM1699 [1.99kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), Linux, 6 cell; W8.1SL@RM1899
Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14, i5-4200U + Nvidia GT820M +(1366x768; touch) + 8GB SSHD + 500GB HDD@RM2299, 4GB (soldered), W8, 2 yrs; colors: black/orange

if you do play games, you can consider get the Lenovo Y410P.

my gaming tittle is mostly like fifa, nba 2k series...most of the sport game
do you think that i need to consider y510p in stead of hp j144tx??
but what i heard from them that y510p is very heavy and low battery life...is that true??
this dell version i also consider before, but they doesn't involve any graphic card on this series.

noted. notworthy.gif
but normally less people will go for 11" notebooks. the screen was so tiny, even reading a document can be pain in the ass.

sports game, i'd like you to take the Dell i listed. most of the sports game arent graphic demanding, so i dont think you really need to have a graphics card.

but if you worry about that :

Lenovo Z400 touch, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT740M + (1366x768, touch)@RM2399, 4GB, 1TB, W8; 2 years warranty

this is sufficient enough. nod.gif

Samsung 7 ultra seems like the best option, even though it has the previous gen intel. Thanks again! biggrin.gif
