1. Preferred Brand: Anything other than Apple 2. Budget: <3k 3. Usage: College work (Microsoft word, power point etc), browse the internet. (No gaming) 4. Preferred laptop/screen size 14'' or smaller. Well, I'm looking for a laptop (or ultrabook) just to take to college. Storage is not important so an SSD is fine CD rom is not important either. But good battery life is good Thanks in advance!

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Apr 17 2014, 09:37 AM) your budget dont allow you to get Apple. by the way : Samsung Series 7 Ultra, i5-3337U + Intel HD4000 + 128GB SSD + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM2999[JBL][1.46kg], 4GB, W8 Toshiba Satellite U40t-A102, i5-4200U + Intel HD4400 + 32GB mSATA + 500GB HDD + (1366x768; touch)@RM2799[1.74kg], 4GB, W8SL, 3-cell; 3 years local warranty; backlit keyboard Dell Inspiron 14 7000, i5-4200U + Intel HD4400 + (1366x768; touch)+ 32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM2999[1.99kg], 6GB(soldered), W8.1, backlit keyboard, 58Whr, No ODD prices in RRP and negotiable. Thanks for the reply! I thought that the cheapest versions of Macbooks starts at exactly 3k, that's why I noted Samsung 7 ultra seems like the best option, even though it has the previous gen intel. Thanks again! This post has been edited by raeimad: Apr 18 2014, 12:41 PM
