I believe many forumers here that didnt apply via Rakuten/Storekini get the RM 150 welcome bonus.
Not sure if currently still got this or not.

I want to share my experience with CIMB Card owners. Few weeks/months back I posted a question to ask about the validity period of the Bonus Points earned from CIMB CC through spending. I have a situation where by I am holding the card for < 1 year and CIMB informed me that my BP are going to expire soon.

I was holding a CIMB VI until CIMB announced that their Preferred customer to have a VI converted to a CIMB Preferred VI. And so that card reward system was changed from a cash rebate to a points system. I have called up CIMB to inform them about the system glitches they are having since I am holding the card for less than a year. You can actually check the BP in your monthly statement to see if your BP are expiring before 3 years. Give them a call if you feel it's not right like mine.

So can conclude that AirAsia is also entitled for the promo other than Malaysia Airlines icon_idea.gif

yup, before this I already bought 3 Malaysian Airlines flight tickets and all got the max rebate of Rm50. Some was skeptical that Airasia was not entitled for this because of the mcc code.

I think we do get 20% Additional Rebate for AirAsia. On 28th last month, My 'Cash Rebate Other Retail' do include 0.2% of AirAsia ticket purchase. However, on 30th April, 'Additional Cash Rebate' appear in my transaction. I just calculate & it is exactly 20% of the AirAsia tix price.

Yes, as I mention last month, I do receive additional cash rebate for Air Asia for April transaction. Recently I also received the AirAsia Additional Cash Rebate for May transaction, thus manage to get max RM50 cashback for May rclxm9.gif icon_idea.gif

just to confirm again that airasia tix falls under 0.2% rebate and not the 5% online rebate ?

I din't get anything from airasia transaction done in May. Its only counted as other retail of 0.2%. Nothing from "Additional Cash Rebate" as per bro fox_shinoda in 2 June. Hopefully it will be credited in the next bill like what bro dhartini says? But I already max my May cash back though.

I wonder whats the difference between "AIRASIA (EC) SEPANG" and "AIRASIA-EC MOTO SEPANG"

'AirAsia Additional Cash Rebate' is capped together with 'Cash Rebate'. Since u already receive RM50 for Cash Rebate, thus no more for 'AirAsia Additional Cash Rebate'

I guess there are different MCC codes within Airasia itself. I did 3 transaction, 1 was credited automatically, 1 was credited after I made some noise and another was not credited because the MCC code/POSCODE was not in the rebate category. So it's still a lottery I guess.

So far the automatic one is Airasia X to Seoul. My other 2 (one Airasia Philippines and one local Airasia didn't get)
