QUOTE(rav3n82 @ May 6 2014, 07:25 PM) Yes, it's definitely good enough, your budget only allows you i3 anyway. Hi again, can i get ur opinion regarding It is faster than current gen R7 260X, and should do well at mid settings 1080p resolution. Amd FX+R7 250 vs i3+gtx750(like u suggested earlier) Pros n cons? QUOTE(Noellau @ May 8 2014, 01:01 PM) Hey Zgames, may I know what is the different between Xeon 1230 V3 and the i5-4440, Does Xeon make much better performance than the i5? Sorry for asking, newbie here. Xeon E3 1230 v3 is essentially an i7 4770, just 0.1GHz slower and without IGP. So you can refer to the charts below and refer to i7 4770 and i5 4670K (approximate proxy for i5 4440) and this should give you a rough idea where their performance would be. As you can see, some games that is able to utilize the extra threads that the Xeon/i7 processor (4 cores / 8 threads) has, will give you a slight edge in terms of performance. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
