Did you run Diablo3 and Dota2 without problem with your old CPU?Cause the G3220 is better than the one u have..

Better go for full HD monitor(21.5") since you can afford one.

Wrong choice on the CPU and board. For FX-8xxx builds, it is recommended to get an ATX board, mainly the fact that only ATX boards have proper VRMs for powering the CPU. Note that a weak VRM would throttle the CPU, and in rare cases, causes the VRM to fail. The only way to do so is to go with a Xeon/i7 build, as they have much lower power requirements.

The power requirements of FX CPUs (especially FX-8xxx series CPUs) are very high and generally requires very robust VRMs, and robust VRMs usually require a lot of space on the motherboard, unless motherboard manufacturers do this:

VRM throttling/failures is no joke, though. There are several members who encountered VRM throttling issues. Here's some:

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3078942/all (MSI 970A-G43, very well-known for problematic VRMs, causes FX-8350 to throttle)

Even our moderator goldfries he wrecked his MSI 790FX-GD70 (due to VRM failure) with a Phenom II x6 1100T...
