ok..i think quite no of people know that i OCed my x2 3800 to 2.5ghz with DDR1000 5-5-5-12 2.1v..

so now im trying to oc higher. but i guess i have to lower the timing.
so i adjusted to DDR667 4-4-4-12..

but then, what happened is my pc wont boot at all..blank screen..
even when i set my proc to default clock (2.0ghz) with ddr667 oso cannot boot.

but no problem if i use ddr800 cl5..but limited to 2.5ghz only lar..

so any idea whats goin on? why was it blank screen when i use ddr667 cl4?

Yea...just now i tested as well. Can boot at 2560Mhz & ram 1024Mhz. But once i change to 667 divider, i only can boot at 2400Mhz but not 2560Mhz...

ive clock mine till 2600ghz with 667..i have no problem what so ever...

did u flash to the latest 18 bios????

my ram hitting its max d on around 265 on 667..going no where even looser timing..add V wont help either

my 2 sticks are kvr with hynix fp-y5..its very clockable as in some review from other clockers but surely mine wid kn9 ultra doesnt haha

wat ram u using? n my bios is too 18

btw.. i'm oso using KVR 667 with hynix FP-Y5 currently running at 400Mhz@4-4-4-12 2.1v.. this ram can do up to DDR960@5-5-5-15 2.1v.. so in your case u can push the ram more and get higher clock, 3Ghz perhaps

er..sorry guyz..its ok already.

instead of adjusting the divider to 667 when 2.5ghz, i set everything to default and start overclocking with ddr667..and so far it managed to go 2.7ghz un-prime..

with stock vcore just from 1.025-1.075v and max temp till 78c sure this proc have a nice OC capability.

oh........i AM having the same issue like you too....oo now i understand....yeah..mine got blue screen when going for 270 on 667 too.Im using Mushkin 667 ram.hhehe im not sure how is the o/c ability..hehe

im not using bios 18....i find it got some issue especially with cold boot.im sticking with 17 right now.....so far so good...

now im off....gonna testing 553 divider and gonna put some strees to my new heatsink freezer 64 pro....hehehheehehe
