Hi guys. Have anybody here use Bendix Metal King Titanium brake pad? any after effect to the rotor? need advice. thanks
*
Been using all these while @ my old car..

No issue at all..

I think people always mistaken about Metal King Titanium vs Metal King Gold.

Gold will eats your rotor but not the case for Titanium.. that's why Titanium you see more dust than the Gold's

Tesco always have promotion for Shell 5W-40 selling at only RM14x....

Damn if only I could bring this to SC ...

Just wait until you compete the warranty period, then you can opt to service outside.

Go to SC only for major service smile.gif

I went from sentul to bota (perak) last week on full tank and managed to survive 600++km using shell 95... but I think its the attitude of the driver that affect the fuel consumption the most... I drove only +10kmh over the speed limit and forced myself not to hit the throttle too hard
*
if not for the traffic jam, i could probably get over 600km.. me? i drive like an uncle but initial start i let the car roll, the half throttle until desired speed, release throttle then re-apply gently.. it helps the cvt to lower the ratio down... much like how u would force an automatic gb to shift up.. my usual speed is 70-90 kmh.. but pantang kena cucuk2..

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Mar 27 2014, 12:41 AM)
Your fuel consumption can fight with my Preve LE. Very good biggrin.gif
*
yup.. how is ur driving style? i always find the least jammed roads even if its 5km further.. cause i could save a lot more...
i notice the cvt will maintain a high ratio if u plant your foot down and not let go if reached desired speed..

Guys~~i sent my car for the 5k service at Section 13 Service Center this wednesday~~

the Service Agent told me that there is a new version of ECU Mapping just released yesterday (Tuesday) and recommend me to wait an additional 30 minutes for the update...

well im not sure others have problems like this....previously there are some jerking when i drive at slow speed (highly acceptable in my opinion) and the clutch like not engage when stop and go on steep slope...(same goes to reverse up slope when parking)~~

but after the new ECU mapping, the car feels MUCH MORE RESPONSIVE and the jerking is even further reduced (used to jerk mildly for 3 times now...max 1 time)~~up hill acceleration improved significantly....engine break also felt stronger~~

Anyway..the downside is..i noticed the fuel consumption is slightly increased (i always look at the meter for FC changes) i reckon this is a small price to pay for a smoother drive~~

anyway mine is CFE ANCAP~~recommend u guys to update this new ECU Mapping....

Also recommend Sec 13 Service Center...got free white coffee and astro~~plus wifi (i did not use it as i never use up my plan's data)~~service staff is nice and polite....did not recommend me any other weird stuff (except X1R during the 1st service)

In your receipt, should have written the description of ECU with its version number, i.e. 4412.
Mind sharing it out?

guys i used to have problem starting my car last time, then i checked with SC then they said is because the battery voltage below the minimum par..that why cant start..

They changed for me few months back..

Recently i have this problem again, the problem is...it only happen once a while, sometimes i open the front trunk and then slam it back ... ignite my car, it can start again...

ANyone having this similar problem? i just changed new battery fr few month how come still like that, could it be the cable loose or wht shit? really damn tired going back to SC again n again

and lately, my 15k service charged me about rm300+... is that normal? then each 5k service also rm300? gonna cost that much?
