Steering rod doesn't have coupling, unable to accommodate for steering height adjustment. If you wish to modify, can try to source for mechanics who have experience. The closest thing I can think of is, migrate SAGA steering rod/steering console and retro fit it back to Savvy's steering rack. That may be able to make the steering become adjustable. I do not have 1st hand experience on this, but I will consider this if I were to modify the steering to adjustable. Good luck with your friend.

Sorry, as per reminder by fellow members, official reply I better make it in English so easier for future reference when use the search function.

Scroll down to STEERING COLUMN, the part list is there. I'm not sure which 1 is needed. But I guess it will cost you easily 1k to fix it if buy new. If kedai potong, you'll have to enquire by yourself I unable to help.

i just found out my left side front tyre not centre. before, i used 175/55/15, it doesnt appear too much. after changed it to 175/65/14, can see the tyre is a bit too closer to the wall/body.

sure something that hold it dah bengkok.. adeehh.. tak tau lagi berapa kos kerugian harus ditanggung, mungkin kah front lower arm? apa kah itu?(gugel sat..)
ok.. kompom.. ni la kot yg dah jahanam..

Should have keep my old lower arm, so you can bring it to install PU bush, then can pasang as new. Mine no bengkok, just the bush slightly wear off saje. Can't confirm at this point whether your caster is due to the lower arm bengkok, but looking at it, your undercarriage also kena scrape. Wondering if there's other collateral damage as well. nestum any comment?

ello I am newbie to this forum

I own a green 2009 AMT savvy fot almost 5 years and I have my bit of share of the AMT problem. It only gives problem after 4 years and I ended up change almost the whole system which cost me a fortune rclxub.gif

It was ok after that thumbup.gif but only for 6 month than it slowly starting back the whole routine again. Everything else about the car works well with no problem at all except for the AMT thing. I like the handling of the car and it is very fuel savvy biggrin.gif

I send to SC subang but i am starting to have doubts about them cause I send them twice already and the problem still keep on coming back shakehead.gif Can renaultech at subang check my savvy amt or does anyone have any other suggestions icon_question.gif

And one more thing what's the address of the workshop that change the engine to myvi. I am quite interested but as a last resort cause utang tukar amt pon tak abis lagiiiii grumble.gif

Thanks thumbup.gif

ouch.. tukar amt own pay?
ades..

pity you not join club and ask around first.. should just change to mt (cost somewhere 2-5k depend on parts price) or drop another engine better..
if drop K3VE (toyota passo / daihatsu boon / perodua myvi) super nice.. 1.3 and got auto.. but price.. haha.. ready to fork somewhere near to 12k region.. up a bit K3VET (turbo inside)..
where 4EFTE (toyota starlet) cost you a little bit lower plus more power at somewhere 10k region..

but both route (change transmission / change engine gbox), need few month downtimes. so you need to have another car around to make such jobs.. whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Renau+Tec...5d586557657f9fe

Yes, Renau Tech does the job pretty well. Price is much reasonable compare to SC. To fully fix the damn AMT, usually cost between 3~6k depending on how many part rosak. Other than that, future maintenance make sure you send it back to Renau Tech, they know what needs to be maintain. Honestly, I've seen some tough cookie AMT running around without problem at all, until they sent to Plotong SC. Those fuckers doesn't even know our AMT needed special fluid to prevent the AMT from catching a flu.
user posted image
The 1 time I heard AMT start to behave like a b****, SC pour normal automatic transmission fluid into it. The next time I heard GaGa CVT went KO, also because SC pour normal automatic transmission fluid into it. doh.gif

So, do send to Renau Tech, ask them to diagnose your problem 1st. Who knows you may get lucky, could be done by just an oil change icon_idea.gif
