savvy handling is really
one of the best that I ever encounter before.

I had only a front 4 point strut bar with 195/45/15 tyres, the road handling and corner is really good.
maybe because of its design?

replacement parts are affordable.

timing belt, I'm using gates.
water pump, only change 1 time.
ignition coil, advise to go for original Renault only. I tried the blue coil and the china coil, really not too suitable for me.
Air filter, using a K&N, just service every 10k.

no regret for a small car.
the only complain that I got is too small for a family.. cannot ferry too many passenger, underpowered.

Guys can recommend good workshop for savvy in kl or pj? New owner here, just bought a cheap manual for 3500, need to get it checked out and fix whatever needs repairing.

I faced this prob last month, so what I did was using screwdriver to kopek the handle mechanism thr till the locker opens, found out one part was broken.

disassembled the mechanism and used gam to revive that broken part.

Guys, any idea what symbol is this? My AMT cannot use auto now. Only manual.

better sent workshop and use obd diagnos tool to check.
if they quote you more than 3k to fix it, you should consider to do engine conversion.
i just done my engine convert into passo auto early june, cost around 7k, then hassle free.
as you known, amt is an never ending nightmare

it can be very simple thing.. for example the brake switch.

get yourself a diag tool bluetooth one rm20 will work

Hi all..wanna know 'bengkel' can transplant yrv turbo in savvy. anywhere nearest(I'm at Raub)..Recently I ask some 'bengkel' in JB and the price he's quote RM9.5k ..I think it's too much of money. Really appreciate it. TQVM..

In Johor, even a First batch Myvi they sold for 13k, really blood sucker second hand car seller.
But I pay half price of it, can get Savvy which is good in handling and chassis strength, plus reliable engine from Mybi.
Is it a smarter choice?

Let's say

1. Convert to manual, you need someone manual owner who willing to sell his manual gearbox, wiring set, meter cluster,gear console, manual Ecu and manual driveshaft as an complete convert kit to you. Which cost you around 2.5k to 3k not including 1.5k to 2k of labour cost.

2. K3vet was around 9k to 10k not including JPJ endorsement 450 ringgit and the cost of modified driveshaft, you need to combine outer cv joints of Savvy which located near tyres with driveshaft k3vet from gearbox output side.
Some more our Savvy cannot fit in large Radiator, the most largest size can fit in was L9 Kenari Radiator. If you done that conversion , you may worry about water temperature issues.

3. Driving a Kancil not much different with suicide.

If you really wanna a hassle free Savvy, I might sell my blue monster to you. Rm8.5k passo auto Savvy with jpj endorsement done. Got dvd player reverse camera inside.

Hi guys, my savvy 2009 mt speed meter occasionally dropped to 0 even though i am in high speed driving. From the previous post it seems to be gear box speed sensor issue, and this item can be purchased cheaply from here
