From Kuching, Sarawak here. I need a recommendation on which workshop can repair my savvy. AMT model.

Since last week the gearbox keep blinking on & off then when I stop at traffic light yesterday the gear shift from 1 to neutral. Since then I cant start the car. Also there was no sound of the electric pump running when you open the car door or before ignition.

One of the Proton SC here said its maybe due to the electric motor or the BOM spoiled. All in all he said repair around 4K....which is too much for me. So any guys can recommend a place in Kuching here can do savvy? Maybe install second hand part for the pump & BOM

Check the oil level for the AMT. There is a clear container on the gearbox.

Yesterday, mine also same problem. Gearbox light came up and gear stuck at 2 or 3. Upon reaching a petrol station, I found the oil level very low. Bought some ATF and fill it up. Now smooth.

i hv went my favourite unker workshop , to ask for clutch labour ,then ask quote from a young man corner car repair shop

my favourite enker foreman say CANNOT DO ,(means he scared to do n nvr do b4)

the young man shop say rm2xx to 3xx labour , i ask gst ,and he say not yet included

during saturday , when i hv enuff fund , i go buy clutch kit , tauke say 1.30pm only got stock

because last unit sold off aleady

so , during waiting i drive home , i ask the young man repair boss i confirm rm2xx can do or not , he say cannot,he want rm3xx and need to put 2-3days

the boss i tell him my car model no need to pull engine , he go n see my car bumper below konon and act , say need to pull engine out. like kancil , he lied

so , i go to malay workshop facing taman ,behind shoplot

i ask the boss he say labour rm120 only

i told him i ordered rm290 parts valeo oem,

so , tauke put on phone , he also knew the sparepart boss , he ask him bring part come , and boss say 11pm go take can because sunday / next day no open shop.

i say next weeek , boss rush for me say if u put now we take out first n save time , he say he offer to call sparepart shop boss deliver later to save time and i can get car early

he on phone ask the seal and the gearbox oil , on speaker mode in his handphone

the malay workshop boss is honest and respectful to his customer,
THE CAR IS NOW LIGHT WHEN ACCELERATE AND NOT ROUGH ........

i m very happy.

total rm502 but boss kasi rm500

boss chit chat with me long time after finish work at 9pm

i m happy and want help to promote this boss , while many chinese workshop doesnt want do or charge high,

BOSS ALSO TOLD ME CAN FIT PASSO 1.5 ENGINE TURBO AND WITHOUT TURBO

HE DONT RECOMMEND STARLET BECAUSE TIMING BELT AND YEAR 199X ENGINE

HE SAY PASSO ENGINE IS TIMING CHAIN AND NEWER YEAR AND CAN LAST LONGER,

BOSS IS DOING MODIFIED / TRANSPLANT ENGINE BUSINESS , IS A LEVER HIGHER THAN REPAIR/SERVICE CAR,

HE DONE MY SAVVY CLUTCH MEANS HE CAN DO EUROPEAN ENGINE TOO

The workshop made my clutch pedal lowered and BECOME SO LIGHT , i first not used , but now using the clutch is so easy like in waja manual and effortless. I AM SO HAPPY

my car 1 bar can last about 76 to 80 km
last time almost faulty is 50km per bar only

now after release clutch car can lunge forward it was so powerful and effortless now , gain back all the power and can drive 2900rpm all gear

if open door no charging sound, possibly its the motor brush worn out.
the charging motor is just like an electric drill. after a while the carbon brush will finish.

either buy a recond one or try to service it.

maybe show this video to your mekanik bawah pokok and at least try lah.

the brush cost rm58 if correct.

unlikely ecu/tcu. get an exact trouble code from foreman. else goto proton and ask them to use computer to check.
possibly just a simple fault like pressure leak or the carbon brush worn out.

Speedo just get a GPS. More accurate also

Speedo can use GPS.
But how about the Mileage?

Hi gaisss... My savvy 2011 manual kmh meter sometimes not working, then sometimes jumping up and down. When this problem occur, the gear stick shake and aircond not cold for a while and car feel like jerking (Mostlyly on 5th gear) then i need to downshift and upshift again to keep the car balance. I suspect speed sensor problem lah, any idea? Thank you
