guys need opinion.

have been using savvy for 11 years now and since I got another car, recently I rarely use it for 3-4 months and yesterday when I was trying to start the car it got no power. could it be because of the battery need to be jump start or is it the alternator?

if alternator how much will it cost to replace one?

I Got Issue ............ Please icon_question.gif

Savvy 2008 AMMT

I installed GPS tracking device (Chinese Version vmad.gif ) Connected to OBDII , it was last 4 weeks and everything is ok

I'm not sure if this related to my problem, the tracking device got sim card (UMOBILE) with GPRS, the sim card need to top-up (DONE)

and reset the settings ,,, but still the problem

***Problem is*** bangwall.gif

after normal driving during the day.... evening tried to startup the car

the key lock and unlock working properly, Alarm system is ok...

once I switch on the key into the car ignition switch, then nothing,,,, I got Yellow signal Auto on dashboard, and no engine start up

the gear on (N)

no any response just the yellow auto signal

Battery is new and I tried to jump start the battery just in case,,, nothing ...!

I take GPS tracker off, disconnected the battery then connected again, rclxub.gif

same ...

I take out the fuses of ECU and set again

nothing ,, just keep same response Yellow auto signal , and no ignition start up,,,, flex.gif

What device is that? Alarm? Does it cut fuel pump? Cut ignition?
Restore everything back and see.

Hi All, what is the best place to service Savy in kl area?
Scenario is while driving gear indicator changed from auto to manual. Is this sign that gearbox going to fail?

as long you get a manual, you are safe.

with regards to the issues, its better to get your car first then share what problems you face.

mine is a 06, till date, still going good.

Did the handling/ride deteriorate too much after >10years?

Actually my brother owned one. Last time i drove, handling is nice, ' harmonically'tuned to chasis n road.

What about replacement parts price? timing belt replacement cost how much? Air filter price? Oil filter price? Can i say they cost almost similar to local cars'?

First batch MT (2005) owner here:

Timing belt around RM330
Air Filter forgot as I changed to open pod one
Oil filter around RM 12

Handling greater than some p2 car tongue.gif
Other common issue can be solved below RM 200.
