Btw. The mechanics near by my house, used a digital device to check. He told me the gear speed meter no signal. But I can still drive in D with gear changing itself. Wondering what is this speed meter for? Do i need to fix it? Thanks.

Guys, when do I need to change my Savvy AMT gear oil? currently is 40000KM, DO i need to change the normal gear oil as well? as I always drive in Auto mode.
Where can I get it change for good service and best price? Thanks. Btw, fr my last car service, the mechanic told me my speed meter sensor is not functioning, but still I can drive without any issue, If i remember correctly, some old post mentioning about cleaning the speed meter sensor, any idea how? Thanks. |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Mar 14 2015, 08:47 AM) Renautech please. Please refer 1st page for mechanic details. TDC sensor can be clean and reuse if not faulty, speed sensor is an mechanical sensor. If it's dead, then change another 1. Thanks for the reply. How about gear oil? For Renautech, are they charging expensive? Do you how much will it costs for the speed sensor? Thanks. |

Ignore. I found it. Thanks. This forum always very helpful. I went to workshop nearby my house. They use the machine to check my car. Everything perfect. But very hard to change gear. Dunno why. Haih..

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Apr 1 2015, 08:19 AM) 5 years never change!? Noted. Ya wei. Last service was 20k, tot only need to change after another 20k. Now very smooth iinm, every 20K mileage. last time u said u have difficulties in changing gears & loss power. and u said u haven't changed the gear oil for a very long time. if u have a very low mileage, u cannot calculate based on mileage. u have to consider time limit also. e.g for your case OCI 20k or every 2/3 years. or if u feel the gear change is not smooth, it's time for change. |

QUOTE(raynman @ Aug 1 2016, 12:26 PM) I got the AMT fluid changed at Renautech this morning. How frequently do we need to change? The last time i changed at a local shop, charge me more than 3 litres for manual and auto oil :SIt now comes in a new packing. ![]() The price for a 1-litre bottle is RM55. Labour to drain out old fluid, flush with new fluid two times, and finally fill with new fluid is RM20. GST is RM4.50, making a total of RM79.50. Consumed exactly one litre, and left with an empty bottle as souvenir. If i still remember correctly, 1 litre RM85 |
