Main reason i want z1 is the sony gaming features which allow ps3 controller to be use when mobile gaming

Last time i had xperia play..so fun and easier to play games but sony didnt make any succesors to that phone

Im considering getting z2 too once z3 is out..price should be bit cheaper by then but takes too long

i have not use htc one b4 so can't comment much. i have also not use the ps3 controller also so also can't comment much.

what do u mean by install the FTF from 4.4.4? can i just follow nut's guide re-install the rom again?
or just go for original rom as currently root are much more easy by using towelroot?

err... i don't think nut's rom is consider custom rom. it's just a stock rom, that is pre-rooted and pre-installed with dual recovery.

and yes, u can just flash any stock 4.4.4 rom and then root it with the towelroot. takes less than 1 minute to root. and i think one of our forum member have shared his MY ftf fw.

Is safe to flash any country ftf ( prefarably Europe or Asian)...I have even flash LTE rom on my 3g XZU but cannot get LTE to work. Make sure you download correct phone model
Use FLASHTOOL program ( google for it) . Many sites teach you how to use. Basically install program in PC n launch it. Press the leftmost icon n select flashmode. Select your ftf file. Switch off phone n connect to PC by pressing down vol down( you need google to countercheck whether use vol up or down) n firmware will be flashed over. When finished disconnect phone and restart. Before flashing copy the ftf file to PC flashtool/firmware folder
In the flashtool window at top right you can untick wipe data to keep your data. If you are moving from custom rom better to wipe data to avoid reboot

Either you use cloud service and constantly update or you just download APK itself and store in the phone. But why would you recommend to do this?

You can use Google service to auto-install the apps what.

This is the way to dl the apk files for the apps on the playstore, I'm just giving an example, and I know there r some people, like my friend, dont have google acc & dont want to have 1, but wanna use apps on play store.

some people already ported this function to z1 long ago, but I heard enabling it will drain your battery like drinking water. I remember DoomLord have included this in his kernal but then remove it bcos of the battery draining issue.

Mainly stock roms -- you have to read the relevant thread itself to find out..I rarely see guys post ftf files for custom roms

i lost my root after flash the ftf which provided by someone from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53763117&postcount=1391&nocache=1&z=6641771872527897)

i downloaded towelroot and press the make it rain, but there shown 'you should have root, no reboot required'
but my super su show that no su binary and ask me to re-root any solution?

not sure if you guys are facing annoying voice recording issue when using whatsapp?
1. voice recording very soft - not sure where is the mic
2. when u're halfway thru voice recording and there's a new notification with vibration, the recorder will capture the buzzing sound of the vibrator

Flashing ANY ftf files will always cause you to lose root
Why don't you just flash chainfire supersu zip ( just google this is forum XDA) in recovery mode to get root ??

and i think i know what make my phone lagging, probably is framework or one of the module inside cause the lagging issue.. still fixing..

ps it seem like the xprivacy causes the issue?
ps2 seem like not, i already uninstall the xprivacy and the lag issue still there, seem like i must go for wipe data

Another way to backup your apps, root your phone, install titanium backup, backup your apps, copy the titanium backup folder from your phone to your desktop.

Once done flashing the FTF, root again and install titanium backup and copy back the folder from your desktop to your phone(internal storage). If you have tons of app to reinstall, I suggest you buy the pro license. It allows you to install the apps automatically. The free version, you need to install it one by one the apps that you backup.

I'm not sure if there's any other backup apps in the market. Been using titanium backup for ages already. So far I'm happy with it.

after i lost my recently data, i realise that my problem actually occur after install xposed framework anyone have the same problem with me?
