QUOTE(Yumi Hayashi @ Mar 6 2014, 08:17 PM) That would be so useful =A= Saves moneh~ Seriously you will lose much more money trade in at Sony centers. Be prepare for at least rm300-500 additional topup vs what you can resell yourself outside

QUOTE(jloi @ Mar 8 2014, 10:28 AM) Agree. In fact Sony and HTC (start from HTC one) is the most stable phone in terms OS I ever used. Have you try factory reset your phone then plug into pc to repair software? I would say LG optimus g pro n Huawei Mate is even better than Sony XZ, XzU n htc1 in its OS stability n UI smoothness.. htc1 I find is the worst especially blinkfeed is slight jerky but many users choose to ignore it as blinded by phone supposedly beauty!!

QUOTE(manleong @ Jul 8 2014, 04:11 PM) my phone was ap phone, have no idea which ftf to flash my friend told me, any MODIFIED rom = custom rom, but i don't think the term are important flash stock 4.4.4 mean that i will lost all my app and data it gonna spend another whole day to do that any tutorial for that? i think i need to flash back to my rom LOL? how many ram show in settings? mine just 1.3gb used and 3xx mb free, total up just about 1.6gb Is safe to flash any country ftf ( prefarably Europe or Asian)...I have even flash LTE rom on my 3g XZU but cannot get LTE to work. Make sure you download correct phone model Use FLASHTOOL program ( google for it) . Many sites teach you how to use. Basically install program in PC n launch it. Press the leftmost icon n select flashmode. Select your ftf file. Switch off phone n connect to PC by pressing down vol down( you need google to countercheck whether use vol up or down) n firmware will be flashed over. When finished disconnect phone and restart. Before flashing copy the ftf file to PC flashtool/firmware folder In the flashtool window at top right you can untick wipe data to keep your data. If you are moving from custom rom better to wipe data to avoid reboot This post has been edited by benny888: Jul 8 2014, 04:25 PM

QUOTE(manleong @ Jul 8 2014, 10:11 PM) i lost my root after flash the ftf which provided by someone from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53763117&postcount=1391&nocache=1&z=6641771872527897) i downloaded towelroot and press the make it rain, but there shown 'you should have root, no reboot required' but my super su show that no su binary and ask me to re-root any solution? Flashing ANY ftf files will always cause you to lose root Why don't you just flash chainfire supersu zip ( just google this is forum XDA) in recovery mode to get root ??

QUOTE(kae7 @ Sep 19 2014, 04:25 PM) online is cheaper [ebay got] but if you want to include installation , better go to Sony SC It only cost rm38 ( based on Z ultra) inclusive installation. Why go thro trouble to save a few ringgit?? This post has been edited by benny888: Sep 19 2014, 04:44 PM
