QUOTE(Vryon @ Mar 14 2014, 10:34 AM) Hahahaha ! Goshh :/ guess that's the part we gonna sacrifice. I didn't do scientific test on it, but 3G/LTE signal are much stronger than Wi-Fi, the difference can be ignored. But outside okay la right ? Me for 5 days, so far so good la. See mkbhd he used it naked for 3 months still good as new. Don't drop la or else habis QUOTE(bulldog @ Mar 14 2014, 11:45 AM) You think you are very smart ??? Not every phone user is a geek ...that is why they come in to ask question Difference between geek and normal user is they always do research. There's difference between noob and lazy. There's always Google. I always googled my problem/question first, if not found then only asked in forum for help. There's build in search function in LYN forum as well. Forum are for discussion, people here are not paid to answer the same question over and over again and again. |

QUOTE(radi0head @ Mar 14 2014, 01:22 PM) How to make my search bar with 'Say OK Google' on it ? Are you using any 3rd party launcher or google now launcher, currently only google now launcher able to detect hot word. I remember I did used it before but after awhile, it is gone. OR did I off something? If yes, surely without me knowing. How to switch it back on? ... Go google setting, under Voice > "ok google" hotword detection. edit : oops misunderstood, you mean the say ok google word. This post has been edited by pokgaizai: Mar 14 2014, 01:57 PM |

QUOTE(radi0head @ Mar 14 2014, 01:22 PM) How to make my search bar with 'Say OK Google' on it ? I believe it's just a tutorial for first time use. When you change the settings in google now, it will be gone.I remember I did used it before but after awhile, it is gone. OR did I off something? If yes, surely without me knowing. How to switch it back on? ... You don't need that "Say OK Google" text there for the hotword detection to work. Go Google Settings > Voice > check Hotword Detection. If you really want that text there (which I don't understand why you want it, but ehh), clear data in Google Search (Settings > App > G Search) then reboot. However, doing this will clear all your settings for GEL (homescreen, icons, etc,) and deactivate google now. |

I think if you are getting a nexus 5 then you are pretty tech savy enough so you should be able to figure all these simple things out by just doing a quick google search. No offense but simple questions like what is kernel etc You can get those answers by just doing a quick google search, don't be lazy.
