means the battery have some problem. If I were you, i will try to leave it to drain the battery finish then charge again to try.. Not that this might help, but you can try..
Best is send back for warranty.

try flashing factory image before attempting warranty
most likely you have a rogue app that's draining the battery

first, charge up the phone and check if you can get into recovery with vol down + power

you will have to be very unlucky to get hardware failure...
back on my i9000 i never had hardware failure despite me abusing it by flashing and installing all kinds of stuff

I guess you wont have a problem claiming warranty, just need to bear the postage to japan..

Anyway, If I want to flash elementalx from franco, do I need to dirty flash my rom as stated at the op of elementalx thread? I'm using stock rom here btw, how do I dirty flash the stock rom? o.O

Can you access bootloader? (aka fastboot)

Try holding the power button for 1 minute or longer?
I got same issue before with QHSUSB_DLOAD on my N7. Not BULK tho.

To boot into fastboot: press and hold Power Button + Volume Down at the same time

anyone having camera issue like "can't connect to camera" when open the camera app?

I bought my Nexus 5 for a month and suddenly 2 days ago it can't start the camera app.

been scrolling and reading one by one and lastly I used all the.method mentioned and see what will happen,  I'll check it out tonight to see if the camera works.

I'm not sure if it was the battery problem as the first time when I checked the time in the morning, the battery was left with 50% and I did not use my phone until afternoon. Then I only realised my screen could not wake up after pressing the power button. All sort of combinations of buttons had been tried but to no avail.

I know is best to claim warranty but I bought it from Google Japan Play Store. Have anyone tried to claim warranty from Google Japan? I bought my N5 in Jan'14.

Thank you for contacting Google. The phone needs to be in country of purchase, when the phone is in Japan and ready for shipping just e-mail me with 'I CONSENT' to the RMA process. Here is a breakdown of the process.

Ohh I see.. Have u try ask local phone store wheter they can repair your phone or not..?? It would be less hassle and not costly I think.

for rooting u can root the supersu tht is stated on that page or flash custom rom like most of the people here do. if u use custom rom, make sure u download the right rom else u might brick ur phone. n i think most custom rom page got teach u the step by step guide, im using slimkat, the installation is easy.

im new to android myself so not sure bout the google usb driver, the other way u can copy ur file is to turn on ur phone and move it through windows folder by connecting the usb cable, thts how i copy all my file. its my third day on android only n my phone itself is facing some notification error. 

Just hit the 3 dot (option) at top right corner and attach. I always do that without any issue.

3G/mobile network will drain your battery more. If you want higher SOT, use wifi and custom kernel.
Check your APN.
