Jumping ship from iOS, you might want to take software updates into consideration.

Apple is good at providing update across all their devices but that's not the case for Android.

Android's leader, Google can't provide update for every single android phone out there due to the presence of modded android and endless variations of hardware (not all phone uses same hardware, different driver etc). Android running on most phones/tabs are not pure or so called Vanilla Android. This is not the case in Nexus devices which are running Vanilla android which promises prompt updates (although Google forfeit its support for Galaxy Nexus just after 18 months!)

The problem of a modded android is that... Software updates are provided by the manufacturer (Samsung, HTC etc) and they always take their sweet time to provide update for their users. You can opt for Custom ROM (Android modded by developers  among the public) to get faster updates but you lose functions added by those manufacturers in their phones.

Lastly... Vibe Z is from Lenovo, not sure if it will ever get updated to 4.4 but I think it would certainly be update for that. Not so sure for next Android version though.

I never mention anything about its good/bad pun. Just telling the difference between iOS and Android ecosystem. Updates are handled differently.

Anyway, agree on you. One of my housemates... Macbook Pro + iPhone 5 + iPod Touch + iPad Air although not all newest gen and some quite old like the MBP and iTouch but still he already sink into iOS. Asking him to change should be very hard

log into ur icloud, and from contacts u need to export the contact to vcards and save it into a file.

once u have google address, u can add the vcards by importing the vcards into it.

try search around.

I notice mine gone too. I think Its more like tutorial when you first start using.

Are you using any 3rd party launcher or google now launcher, currently only google now launcher able to detect hot word.
Go google setting, under Voice >  "ok google" hotword detection.
edit : oops misunderstood, you mean the say ok google word. 

I believe it's just a tutorial for first time use. When you change the settings in google now, it will be gone.

You don't need that "Say OK Google" text there for the hotword detection to work. Go Google Settings > Voice > check Hotword Detection.

If you really want that text there (which I don't understand why you want it, but ehh), clear data in Google Search (Settings > App > G Search) then reboot. However, doing this will clear all your settings for GEL (homescreen, icons, etc,) and deactivate google now.
