QUOTE(blue_decamax @ Apr 6 2017, 07:34 PM) ayy guys.. back in here after a long time.. Try different mainjet. That's it.got question actually. bike got accident (old lc 4 gears manual clutch). last week just got money to overhaul and change some parts. just changed my block to 62mm, new timing chain and nob1 neo exhaust. i can feel the difference on the pickup, but not top speed. so what should i do now? thinking of changing below: 1) new cdi (suggest me)(ori cdi not sure damaged or not after the accident, the housing cracked) 2) chain ratio (15-40?) 3) do i need to change carb too? (but i dont wanna lose the tps if possible) any suggestion / opinions are welcomed |

QUOTE(hanyauntuklowyat @ Apr 9 2017, 01:34 AM) After u remove the thermostat, if you don't intend to keep it, I want it.It keeps the engine running at optimal temp, not over-cooling it. If you remove it, what's gonna happen, the cooling system keeps getting heated up, and when the system needs it, there is no cool coolant to supply. If you keep it, the thermostat opens, the cool coolant mix in just enough to cool the system before thermostat closes again. The hot coolant stays in radiator to be cooled. It's slightly more complicated than that, I imagine, but hope you get the idea. |

It's anti-smooth porting idea.anepDid you remove thermostat? For coolant, did you add coolant mix, or just water? Open the radiator cover to check for leak. Replace with new one. |

aneplms2005yeah, I was going to reply, could be coil side wire loose, if not rectifier burn. Rectifier really rarely burns, because my 2006 bike still using ori rectifier.
Aftermarket rectifier will burn faster, or cause battery die faster because charging voltage not accurate. 4 stroke baru the time cun pakai... most ppl think low maintenance. Once it starts to wear and tear... the cost will be sky high... |

QUOTE(ycgoh123 @ May 30 2017, 09:53 AM) Two ways to remove the rivets:1. drill it out 2. chisel off the crown, and knock the stem through the hole Then, cover the hole with something. QUOTE(razor_max @ May 31 2017, 10:56 AM) recently i blocked the AIS system for my 135lc.. I thought AIS supposed to prevent backfire. Maybe the problem is the reedvalve not functioning properly, or I'm wrong.because of the backfire sound from my exhaust when i decelerate using engine braking before.. what i do is, i stuffed some kind of double tape..make i tubular shape and stuffed it inside little hole in the airbox at right side.. what i notice the sound change a bit..the performance still the same..the throttle response a little bit improve..maybe in 2%..not much.. but the backfiring sound gone... thats my review..tq..hehe Anyhow, here's a link: Plug the AIS AIS baby. |

QUOTE(s@ni @ Jun 15 2017, 10:51 AM) guys, sifu, What carb is he using? It seems the mainjet is slightly too rich.recently ive purchased a used 135lc v2 4S, year 2013. that previous owner modded the meter mileage, but based on the engine/gear smoothness, its still acceptable for used motor. thus, my problem: top speed (on meter ya) 120km/h, feels like (buttdynoed) the fuel is there, rich, but doesn't feel like its optimize..macam lemau.. at gear 4..so no topspeed (and makan minyak... like 80km for rm7..full throttle on the highway) if maintain 100km/h; it could go 150km for rm5... believes that previous owner done some mod, but for a quick repair, is it possible to tune the carb to amend this issue? QUOTE(KhairilAzman @ Jun 15 2017, 03:22 PM) Heyy guys, Tak ada pengalaman pasal ini, tapi, kena tengok keseluruhan rear box, pastikan tiada komponen yang longgar.i nak tanya, lc kalau tambah rear box ada perbezaan tak kalau pakai monorack givi dgn yang gantung biasa dekat spoiler? perbezan speed limits? perbezaan keselamatan? perbezaan goyang? effect dekat pembawaan motor tak? Ada jenis bracket dia kuat, tapi kotak goyang pula. Absorber belakang kena keras sikit. Top speed, pernah dengar kurang sikit pasal rintangan angin. |

QUOTE(razor_max @ Jun 20 2017, 10:25 PM) If that happening..what usually would be changed to solve the problem..? Tell him the symptom, and ask him what will be his steps to diagnose the problem.I want to know..soo i can explain to the foreman.. Take your time, ask a few foreman. Normally, that's how I discuss things with foreman, instead of telling him 'coolant leak into head'. It could be other problem. Most likely, he can check the carb for water, should be quick just remove carb and open the bowl. The water is like a pearl sitting at the bottom. Next, he can check your radiator coolant to see its condition. If coolant can leak into head, oil can also leak into coolant. If he want to chop you, he will straight want to open engine this and that like major workmanship... But, if confirm head gasket leak, that would be inevitable. |
