Since this bike is hot item to be stolen, what anti theft measures can be taken?

GPS? Kill switch? Padlock?
*
all the above
unless they angkut the whole bike up van, might consider chain it to something big

Got my bike already. Took the fi version. Riding bike so much scarier than car especially when fighting the wind.

Anyway, i noticed a few yellow and green paint on the screws and brake disc. Any reason for that?

Any tips for new bike owner is appreciated. Thanks
*
welcome to the club

the paint is part of assembly check, means it is done torque down or tighten.
follow the service maintenance

for owner maintenance, lube the chain, check tyre pressure, coolant and brake fluid levels

Funny thing is i didnt get the manual. Only service book. Told the seller and will collect during first service i guess.

Tyre pressure ok.

So out of the shop no lube to the chain? Will apply it then.

Dont know where to check coolant and brake fluid but will google. Thanks for the info.

There are many options to those consumable parts: oil, chain, tyres
- there are normal chains which needs more oil interval, and O-ring chains that lasts longer in between

Pay attention to brake fluid and suspension maintenance, those can cause poor handling also (means scary to go fast)

need tyre recommendation for my LC135, locked my rear few times yesterday during the rain... since cannot fit in ABS hopping that a good tyre can lower the chances of locking my rear
*
waht tyre is rear using now? How old is it?
does the rear tyre slide in the wet when u turn?

in low grip situations (rain, gravel, sand) usually we try to brake upright using the front, rear brake will make rear tyre more easily lock

I can recommend Corsa platinum series (R26, Cross etc), Battlax BT39.

My experience tells me, is the rubber compound that determines wet grip, not the tread pattern. Tread pattern determines likeliness of aquaplaning, which is not wet grip.

some cheap brand  doh.gif , around 1 year i guess

so far in u turn all okay

i usually try to pump and release so wont lock, but still somehow managed to lock because of some ccb changing lane without looking at side mirror

will look into the tyres, any shop that you will recommend?

thanks  wub.gif
*
the two models, are the extreme cheap and expensive tyre I have tried both wet grip are good
no matter how good, can still lock so bear this in mind

as long as once u release rear brake, the tyre grip back, is good liao - u haven't seen tyre that continue to slide even after brake release, this one really really bad

existing tyre can try use slightly lower pressure to improve grip

u try shop around and see... if not buy from shopee and bring to shop pasang bagi duit upah

I use same size as you, but they look bigger like 80/90 and 90/80... Corsa all like that, especially the Cross is even bigger

Is it true if want to use BRT dual band cdi, have to use standard coil plug? Any bad effect if use other coil plug?
*
I would suggest to get a dyno shop to do it properly.
Coil plug, ECU and plug gap needs to match, but usually it doesn't matter.
