Premier miles visa not listed in their site anymore, not sure if you can get it.  But they just waived the annual fee for me recently after I called in to waive.  RM 600, no way anyone will pay that.

Currently I'm holding PremierMiles and Clear card, and today I called Citibank to request for annual fee waiver. However, they refused to do so, saying that currently bank has no such promotion. Instead, ask me to take up their product (RM5k and above) or convert to choice card! Seriously??  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

This really sucks because I saw there are members managed to waive it! Thinking to cancel it now~
*

To me look like that is the promotion. I also holding PremierMiles and they willing to waive AF for me

Hi guys,

Just a quick question here.

I am in UK and before I left Malaysia, I called Citibank to inform them of my travel.

But due to issue in work, my stay have to be extended twice way beyond my travel date. I was wondering if Citibank will stop my transaction since they could not contact me as I am not on roaming.

Do you think Citibank will bar my card? I have AMEX as well and hope one of them will still work until I leave UK.

Left with 150 pounds and 200 usd only. Will need to rely on my card to refuel diesel.

Can contact them via email

Anyone using citi cashback platinum? Just receive my statement and they charge me the annual fees(rm195). After call in to ask for waiver, they still not willing to waive it. If cancel the card then no need to pay for the annual fees but still need to pay for the gst. Anyone face this before?

There is no such thing as early settlement in cc.
Let say u did installment plan on RM1,200 on a year plan.
Mean RM100 per month. On 3rd month after paying RM300, u decided to do early settlement which is RM900.
I was told my CS u cant do that. Even if u pay RM900 to the cc account, it will deemed as extra debit.
If u no longer use that card, it will slowly minus RM100 each month until the 9 months.
*
I ask Citi CS before regarding earlier settlement for 0% installment.
I specifically told them i wanna settle the payment and close the installment "account"
Citi CS(s) told me is possible since is 0% installation. blush.gif

When i login to my Citibank account. I notice there are 2 credit "limits"

1st - Credit Limit Amount <-- which is my credit card limit

2nd - Cash Limit <-- anyone can confirm what this limit refer to?

What make me disappointed is the CS and he seem to be inpatient to talk to me and hangup the call. I only manage talk to him for 2-3 minutes only.

Yup... nod.gif
I also got 2 Different  Credit Limits  on My 2 Citibank CC:

i) Credit Limit no.1 refer as (X) = is Your REAL Spending Limit Your MAX. CL can USED UP (for Retail spend)

ii) Cash Limit no. 2 refer as (Y) = A Separate CL given to Cardholder can ONLY used for doing BT, Cash Advances, EZ Pay, Dial for Cash or Flexi- Payment Plan or any Installment Plan WITHOUT Touching the CL of Your (X) Spending Limit.

* Usually Cash Limit (Y) given to the Cardholder who Previously having Cash Installment  plan with Citibank before....

BUT YOUR TOTAL CREDIT LIMIT (X+Y): That's the Figures which shown at Your CCRIS, also... nod.gif

ie,
As for MY Case :
i) Rewards Platinum CC with Spending Credit Limit (X) = RM50.5K + Cash Limit (Y) RM20K
As they just Added in a Spared Cash Limit (Y) to the Card After I have Finish My RM20K Installment Plan with THIS Card, in case I want to do Cash Installment, again... sweat.gif

ii) Cash Back Platinum CC ONLY got a Shared Spending CL (X) with Rewards Plat., but with NO Cash Limit (Y) because NEVER USE the Card on any Cash Plan Before... rolleyes.gif

So as the Total amount CL will be RM70.5K from Citibank as It  Shown in MY CRISS... whistling.gif
BTW,  they just  Offered  me a RM8,000 Cash Installment on 0% Cash Advance Fees but I Prefer go on HSBC with 4.88% p.a,  with 0% Fee Charged... brows.gif

Good offer you have.

The CS told me this cash limit will not appear in CCRIS. Seem like he give me wrong info.

FYI. Citibank just call back and confirm the Cash Limit[COLOR=blue] is for Cash Advance or balance transfer. It is not for Dial for Cash[COLOR=red] purpose (loan equivalent purpose)

This limit will not increase your credit limit in CCRIS. blush.gif

How come they told me I can Use Cash Limit (Y) for Dial for Cash + NO CL Deduction from Spending Limit (X)... blink.gif
Plus, the Total Amount CL of My Citibank CCs  also Shown (X+Y) at CCRIS

As maybe I got Special Treats from Citibank as one of their Preferred Customer.... brows.gif  laugh.gif

haha..happy 2k post.

i spent close to 80k last year, from experience is this substantial enough to ask for af waiver? or just too little for citibank to consider?
*
Previous year i spend around RM 20K. Manage to get AF wavied. This year spending definitely much more lower and AF due July. Hope they will still waive for me.

But they CS also told me need to call very close to your AF due only they can 100% got any "promotion" to waive for you. Call too early (example: 1 month earlier) is waste of time (my experience)

QUOTE(homepp @ May 11 2015, 02:42 PM)
Upon a renew of premiermiles AF which is around rm 600++( ** include gst) , Citibank will credit 10,000 point to your account, isn't good deal?
*
That is selling the PremierMiles to you only. Reject and ask for AF waiver for you to consider keep the card

I own this card because of the PPL access and AF waiver, nothing more.

Me too
As long as they waive my AF (hopefully coming July) and with unlimited access to selected Plaza Premium Lounges
will keep the card
