i think no problem if just want to collect card.. if you want 1 hours approval, this cannot be done on weekend, because it fall out of the 'selected service' nod.gif

haha..my card als approved on tuesday..but only receive sms on thursday..
so now axiously waiting for the card to arrive at klcc branch..

maybank cc's sms notification is laggy today. morning swipes, late 15-30mins. afternoon swipe at petronas, still not receiving any sms.

Mine's still OK about 1 min can receive the SMS Transaction Alert (MBB Card terminal though)

Tried to charge my Amex online just now, but the transaction was declined. Called the CS and I was told that the transaction was blocked, but they can make it go through by verifying my details on the phone.

They say I have to call in every time I face a similar issue charging the card. I know it's for security purpose but it's quite annoying and inconvenient for the consumer. I think it makes more sense for them to call me whenever the block a transaction.

Anyone facing the same issue?

And by the way, for now, Maybank send SMS notifications on some transactions, but not all. How do I request for SMS notifications for all transactions regardless of online/physical swipe and amount?

just call Maybank CS and tell them you want to set SMS notifications to RM1. then you will receive sms for all of your transaction online and offline..

try to read first page and you might found many tips that benefit you more using this wonderful cards thumbup.gif

my amex kena fraud at 3am in the morning with 3 transactions, USD1.00 BLIZZARD ENT WOW SUB, USD14.99 BLIZZARD ENT WOW SUB, EUR54.99 WARLODS OF DRAENOR. Reported in the morning at card got blocked now...luckily i set my SMS alert threshold to RM1
