Tried to charge my Amex online just now, but the transaction was declined. Called the CS and I was told that the transaction was blocked, but they can make it go through by verifying my details on the phone.
They say I have to call in every time I face a similar issue charging the card. I know it's for security purpose but it's quite annoying and inconvenient for the consumer. I think it makes more sense for them to call me whenever the block a transaction.
Anyone facing the same issue?
And by the way, for now, Maybank send SMS notifications on some transactions, but not all. How do I request for SMS notifications for all transactions regardless of online/physical swipe and amount?
