What I've read is that you can only put one livetv m3u in one IPTV Simple Client. Somehow a good news is that you can add another IPTV Simple Client dubbed IPTV Simple Client 2
*
thanks, makes sense.

will try client2 later.

for now, happy enough with 1 playlist on simple client and 1 on livestreampro.

I think u forget to click add source after choosing the file. It will then ask for name.

One thing.... If u do this way with usb, usb needs to be there when u use that addon. I have now copied the xml onto a folder in internal drive, redo the path, works fine.

Strange it works on my Minix X7 on TVMC but not on my desktop on Kodi in Windows 8.1. Same abc.xml

i really love this kodi...!!

last night i watched latest epis of elementary and constantine on xbmctorrent 720p dd5.1.

stayed up late till 1.30am to catch on arsenal-mu live over sky sports1 on bbts.

now, i just tuned in to radio tunes (formerly sky.fm). had elton john's tiny dancer and annie lennox's whiter shade of pale - on love music.

Hi, very new to XBMC. Just wanted to ask, how does XBMCTorrent work? Do the files I download from torrent get saved into eMMC flash memory or does it make a temp file so that I can watch what I downloaded and get rid of it after I watched it?

I'm running XBMC on Xiaomi MiTV2, so not sure if I can download files through torrent with its 8GB eMMC flash memory. Or can I connect an external harddisk so that the files I download through the torrent gets saved in the external that I connect to the TV?

Any information would help a lot and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi GuyM, the configuration folder already upload in my skydrive, just follow the "5 Steps Quick Upgrade XBMC to KODI.pdf" and copy the files into your Q16. Alternatively, I will remote to your box.

i didn't! i only watch worldcup and eurocup, never epl or any club thingy. until i asked my epl fren told and kindly sent me this:
http://www1.skysports.com/football/competi...league/fixtures
note those with "skysports1". bbts has skypsports 1-5.
for some reason livestreampro has only skysports 2-5. assps are under test, not stable...

try to diy as xbmc/kodi or any android needs "regular service" - for updates on firmware, apps and addons/plugins. you can't send to him every month! but i hv to say u need time to learn the way android, kodi and other apps work; only own time and effort will get you you there. i actually set up one for a fren couple who simply won't get to it, so i will next him/her to go back to dvd player and astro... tongue.gif

i m curious about xbmctorrent on xiaomitv2. 8gb emmc flash...
if u hv read my previous posts on the subject, i had asked for feedback on xbmctorrent performance on various devices.
so far, there has been responses from users of htpc, raspberry pi and minix only. i use himedia. no word about mac, pc windows, xiaomi, etc...

if u had read what i posted on xbmctorrent and if i am right about it, this addon is incomplete - becos it is no longer supported by the developer who has left for the same potential legal issues thrown at mashup.

in the addon settings, there are options to save the dwnld and where to save it. if it works properly for yr device, no need to do either, just watch all the way 45 min or 2 hrs incl those with dd5.1, it will not be saved anywhere. in my case, in my device, i have to save it on emmc becos it's the only way - watch as it dwnld; it will somehow stop halfway when dwnld completes. so, watch the rest with saved playback; xbmc/kodi playback is good in this case becos u can get subs too, manually delete later. specifying path to save on ext drive won't work in my case, probably becos the addon is unfinished work, incomplete scripts too complex to edit to make it work.

i suggest u read up all that u can find on xbmctorrent. as far as i hv read, there has been no comments on xiaomitv2, likey becos it is very new. u just need to try it.

lastly, i will repeat here: to make an android device work well, u need to spend time and effort as it not plug n play like dvd player or astro. try, play experiment, whatever... ask good questions in forums, u get good answers. ask poor questions, impolite/attitude questions, people will not bother...

Yea, I agree, not much content on Xiaomi MiTV2 anywhere in the internet. Even the official Xiaomi forums have nothing informative about it. So I have been winging it for a few days with XBMC. So far running fine, I manage to install SuperRepo, Navi-X, Sports Devil, IceFilms and a couple more add-ons with no problems. I have encountered a problem when playing HD video through IceFilms where the video would stop to buffer after 10-20 seconds of playing the video. It says the cache has been filled up or something like that. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

I will try to play around some more with XBMC and check out if XBMCTorrent works with Xiaomi MiTV2. I have already made the necessary changes to the urls.py and torrrent2http.py files before adding it to XBMC. Hopefully it works with no problems when I add it into XBMC.

1. Im using on mac airplay to HDTV - smooth 1080/720
2. Too bad the developer will just delete his xbmctorrent like mashUp
3. How you get subs (you mean subtitle right and not subwoofer)?

Install subtitle addon (e.g. opensubtitles) and while watching a movie or tv show, you can search and have the subtitle inserted into the movie being streamed.

the buffer issue is a common one. many reasons, imo - broadband speed, device specs xbmc/kodi supported or not, etc.
in old frodo versions, i used to get some improvement with advancedsettings.xml buffer size in the userdata folder.
i do not know if this method works with gotham or kodi. the way the xml is written is diff, so do readup first before u try:
http://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml
http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_the_video_cache

if new to xbmc, i think better go straight to kodi 14.0 helix beta3. the name xbmc is now being replaced by kodi.

thanks for xbmctorrent-mac info.

if u read kodi forum, developer steeve has said he walked away from xbmctorrent to work on project pulsar almost a year ago. becos it was not completed and he covered himself well unlike mashup, unlikely he will remove it.

subs, yes, like voncrane said - just get it the way u get in with any video addon.
