thanks for the tip. (iptv stalker can be found in superrepo).

i just tried it. for sports, espn, eurosports working. skysports and astrusports not working.

at the same time, i tried bbts - similar, some working some not. works today, not tmrw.

i dunno if some devices do better than others for such iptv streams.

this is the frustration for us - not very reliable. then again. kodi is foc...!
android users: one app i suggest to try is mobdro - the apk is small, simple, fast and reliable - almost all news and sports channels work, incl skysports 1-5, f1.

only drawback is all channels are in sd.

mobdro is good when you are on the road.
At least wont miss the game

dont install the XBMCHUB! Problem later when you try to run any addons. updating this from experience. just manually install whatever add-ons you like. they are plenty of tutorial in the net and youtube.

an example; https://seo-michael.co.uk/tag/xbmc/

my 2cents

ASS HD 1-3 has been working , but since last week it started going on and off. Even this morning I was watching the channels. But currently it's gone down again. Have to wait for it to be fixed again.

Skysports 1-5 was also working before, but they appear to be suffering the same problems.

--------------------------------------

Update Sat June 13, 8.50 a.m

It's up working again currently. Now watching ASS2 Live Fifa Women's World Cup , USA vs Sweden.

the way i watch movies and series is using xmbctorrent, it need space to buffer or option to save the file to ensure smooth and fast view. And 1080p DD/DTS 5.1 are quite big. I doubt these sticks able to handle.

Simply put, majority of the available android sticks suck, especially where an open beast like Kodi is involved. Yes it'll run Kodi but do NOT expect 100% smooth functioning from a dual core CPU, 1 GB ram and mere 8GB ROM. Get minimum a quad core device, 2 GB RAM & abt 16GB ROM from decent brands. Save more $$, if your current budget doesn't allow. in this case...Good thing no cheap & cheap thing no good! nod.gif
Personally I'd go for brands like Google (not chromecast), Minix, Wetek, Amazon FireTV etc...

True... However, you don't want to be recommending RPI 2 for folks who might find it problematic reading & getting their hands dirty.

For the uninformed among us. Kodi for Android is now available to download/update straight from the Playstore, No Beta bequest necessary. This build is based on the version 15 beta 2 code, the same "Isengard" open source release available on Windows, OS X, and iOS. There are too many improvements since beta 1 to list here, but the big additions are a revamped storage framework for Android and improvements to fast forward and rewind functions. The full change-log can be found at Kodi.tv.

I asked cause the current Kodi i use for my android phone is without any intrusive pop up advertisement like many android apps. If this version with ads all over the place then i rather not install.
