Hehe..since my cage still have sufficient space for 3-5 birds. No harm adding more since got cockatiel chicks offer. So..wanna sell your lovebird chick to me? I can hanfeed all in one go just same effort anyway.

Now I only left one lovebird at home. I want different colour from my existing collection, that is why I swap a pair of my lovebirds for 3 Tanau (Blue Rumped Parrot).

Better separate and clean the wound. Sometimes fights happen and normally is from overcrowding or space.... how many in a cage?

I was at the pet shop in Great Eastern Mall yesterday. They are having reno sales. The tame lories were at 30% off. They were very tame, climbing all over my shoulder and back. I had hard time getting them out of my body.
Very tempting to buy one.

Nice bird. I like this gouldian finch colours very much. I know someone who bred this gouldian finches, one day I may keep finches like gouldian and Java sparrow too. But not now...hehe...

I had exchanged a pair of my lovebird for 3 Blue Rumped Parrots, but the birds are not in tip-top condition. Took them back home only realised that their beaks are not really healthy. Quite regretted that I had exchanged my lovebirds with that guy. I was told these parrots were very picky on the food (only eat sunflower seed), that is why they are mulnutrition and caused the beaks look flacky.

I will try to see how I could improve their diet, but may be very hard to change.

Yup...blue rumped parrot is a local parrot.

What sort of vitamins? Where can I get it? Now I give them pellets and other types of seeds. Only very little bit of sunflower seeds. They don't eat much yesterday, but today started to eat whatever is provided.

Hey, I was there too. I saw the sun conures there going at 30% off as well... although tame, wing feathers clipped, they cost RM2.5k each. Online people sell Rm500 to Rm600.... really big difference.

Nice colours. My uncle used to have finches long ago, zebra finches mostly. Now my home is just filled with lovebirds. Like jungle at home.

Har? Not good condition? Wasted loh. Are they tame?

I think you have to lace the drinking water with vitamin supplements. Sera carries vitamins for birds. It's hard to change a bird from seed eating to fresh food eating. My tiels were on a main diet of kuaci at the petshop. It took them some time to get used to a complete seed diet for cockatiels with pellets. Now.... at least they are not in poor condition.

How's your baby tiel?

I didn't ask for the price. $2.5K is damn expensive. Lories are very noisy bird. I had one long time ago (red and blue) and it drowned in a pail while taking bath. I bought it at $80 then.

How much is this local parrot? Can it talk?
