hello...has anyone here ever bred a gouldian finch...i bred some zebras before..thinking ok getting some gouldian this weekend,,

no finch keeper here..just bought a pair of gouldians today..it took me almost an hour to pick a pair..lol

i used to have a problem ring parekeets before,,,same issue..only like sunflower seed...so i added some vitamin on the drinking water and calcium (not to be mixed together)...u can get it from pet wonderland...cant remember the name though..
he even refused to eat any greens so went online n learn how ro sprout seeds,,from there on he will try any veggies offered..even frozen...u just need to break the ice..they are very wary creature.. u said u know some one who breeds gouldian? |

yea conure can talk and whistle but not a great talkeer compare amazon or african grey...
your blue rumped have settled down nicely in your house...thts great man...im not sure if this parrot can talk though..but who knows?.. well thts the thing with love birds...their personality is bigger thn themselves!..lol...its a good thing and a bad thing at the same time..they are quite nippy too.. |

juztiny...sorry to hear bout your magpie..
i think u should save ur other birds...keep them away from the place of your magpie..n dont used all the equipments u sed for the magpie with other birds...including the cage n food dish... |

juztiny..i would suggest u bring the remaining bird to see the vet...from your story..it sounds contagious..hope everything will go well soon man..
24hrs...parrots are like small kids...they have mood swings and all..so when its time back off...do back off...give them some space..they will be back looking for u after sometimes..dont worry..they are very socail animal.. |

just wanna share with u guys my cuddly sun conure....he thinks he a human being..wanna eat on the dinner table with me, wanna shower in the bathroom, and the best he is toilet trained...
