My nest box is very very very cheapo.... it's a shoe box. Coz I can't find one that is long enough for my tiels, I just use a shoe box, line it with plastic board and newspaper inside. My tiels are using it pretty well. So for me checking once a while is easy coz of the large lid. I only check when the birds are out of the box.

Now I'm excited.... can't wait to see baby tiel again. The last time they had chicks was like..... in 2002....

for thoese who keep all kinds of parrot family, it is important to keep their cage lock safely.  luckyly yours flew away, i heard some were eaten by rat. blink.gif

it was locked but they fit themselves through the bars... lucky my dog jump and caught one bird and dropped it in the bin for me to save, it watched the bird so that it wont fly away... the other my neighbour caught but both of them still flew away... how sad...

btw, can rats eat birds? how? sound very impossible...

Here is my Hello Cockatiel funny act in chasing the computer mouse cursor. Some pictures below were taken when I brought him to a pet gathering. Everyone enjoyed playing him.

Adorable, reminds me so much of my late lutino. Sob.

Wow, your lovebirds are really small, with all the handfeeding, they'll be good tame birds hehehe.

This Hello is from breeder, the tamed one.

The Lutino is from petshop, that one I called "Morning" still cannot socialise with people yet.

cry.gif Just now my Mata Puteh escaped and flew away, again its my maid's carelessness! Luckily only cost RM20. If it is my Pekin Robin, I will sure deduct her salary.

Nice bird! Does it sing? I went to many bird shops saw a few, but none of them made any sound, so didn't buy. But saw one of the bird forum video clip of this bird, it makes a lot of funny sound.

Wah, your mata puteh so expensive ah?? Can sing very well one, is it? I bought my Mata Puteh from Penang Toby.
