QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Feb 20 2014, 03:03 PM) What i mean with mobility is being able to carry your bike to go somewhere else to ride. With foldie, i can just fold it up, put it at the car backseat and just drive to anywhere to ride. I can also take trains/lrt. Store in bag can masuk bas or naik aeroplane. With a full sized bicycle, i need to invest in a rack. Plus i cant take public transport with it. I wanted to go sightseeing and travel on bicycle but i cant cyle long and far. Hece bring a bicycle to a destination and ride short short there. the reasons u stated are exactly why i want a foldie Thats why i was looking nt touring/hybrid, in the end settled for a foldie. Exercise, is one of the reason too. |

QUOTE(H2D @ Feb 20 2014, 04:08 PM) Depends on which foldie.. most are not 'light' 12+-kg. Full sized bicycle has the advantage of better gearing and travel over foldies, hence travels further for the same cadence.A big wheel bike feels much more stable n less bumpy than small wheeler... Plus, with some form of suspension, road rides are definitely more comfier. |

Anyone here can comment on Dahon Boardwalk D8 vs Tern Link D8 vs Dahon Speed P8 vs Dahon Mu P8?
All 8-speed, though there are differences in price due to diff parts. Question is, are the "better" parts on the pricier models worth the extra diff in price? |
